☺ Love All That You Are ☺

Happy Love Day to every single one of you amazing human beings (and animals, even if they can't read this)!
This Valentine's Day I wanted to remind you all to spread that love deeply and truly into your own self. Remember that loving your self is one of the most important and blessing things you can do in your life. Loving yourself opens you up to love from others, it fills yourself and your life with happiness and bliss and all good things. Self Love, Self Appreciation, is all too often overlooked and rarely taught in our society, so every chance that comes along that I can take as an opportunity to remind you to Love Yourself, I will.

Love YourSelf! Truly, deeply, and with the most sincere gratitude. Love your amazing personality. Love your body from your head to your toes. Love your mind that makes you uniquely you and gives you all the capacity in the world to grow, learn, and expand your well being and life. Love and recognize all of your talents; and love and acknowledge all of your flaws that make you human. Love your imperfections and know that they are what make you perfect. Love Love Love everything about yourself. And remember that You Are Worthy; of love, of joys, of all good things.

Valentine's Day isn't about your "soul mate", it is about Love! And Love is a gift and a joy to be shared with many; with your family, your friends, your animal companions, to strangers, to our planet, and to all the wonderful beings that live here. So, on this lovely day, remember to Love: all of those around you, and especially YourSelf! Open your mind, open, your heart, and you will welcome love in all its greatest forms.

Happy Love Day!

☺ Motivational Mondays! ☺

. . . . . . . . . .

We're taking back Mondays!!!
"Motivational Mondays" are fabulous tips to get you excited and pumped for the week!
Feeling low? Moody? Down on life? Well, that's what these posts are for! Time to feel awesome again and get some Positivity rolling! Just because it's Monday doesn't mean you can't have fun, smile, and enjoy Today! Apply these tips to your week and try to tell me that you don't start to see an improvement in your life! ;)
It's all about You! Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

Law of Attraction tip: Don't pay so much attention on the negative thoughts. Negative thoughts will come, no matter how positive you try to keep yourself. Your job is not to stop the negative thoughts, your job is to fill your head with as many positive thoughts as you can to counter-act the negative ones. The more positively you can think the more the negative thoughts (and therefore experiences) will slip away on their own.
Get Outside for 30 minutes a Day! I know, I know, it's getting colder, and maybe it's like where I live where the rain has been pretty socked in. Still try to get outside for at least 30 minutes a day, even if it means sitting in the cover somewhere. If you can, try to ground your feet to the earth as well, but at least try to get outside, it'll do your mind wonders!
Stop Feeling Guilty! Stop feeling badly or guilty for the things that you want to do. I have to say it is one of the worst underlying stresses in life when there is someone constantly making you feel badly for just being you. And I think this problem usually stems from insecurity of not wanting the other person to do things without them. Talk to whoever might be making you feel this way, stick up for yourself, and no more feeling guilty. Do things for You, without the guilt, because that guilt will weigh you down in the form of heavy accumulating stress and resentment.
Stop Feeling Insecure! While we're on the topic, stop feeling insecure as well! I know it's not as easy as snapping your fingers and magically all your insecurities are gone, but Try. Stop constantly feeling like everything your boyfriend/girlfriend/significant other is doing is because they aren't interested in you--because in the majority of cases, that's not at all what's going on (it's not always about you ;) ). Start loving and appreciating yourself and others will too, and the insecurities will start to diminish.
Do Something for your Health. This week, I want you to do something new for your health! Whether that means cutting out sugar or some other bad foods; cutting back on meat; quitting dairy; balancing out your omega ratios; drinking more water; or any other number of things. There is so much that we can do for our health, so start taking care of your body--it will also take care of your mind!
Always Believe Something Wonderful is about to Happen! Life can be mundane, life can be tough, life can be just plain tricky some days. But, it's always magical, and there are always amazing things just waiting for us to notice. So, enter each day believing something wonderful is about to happen. I've started this new thing with my husband, whenever he comes home from work, instead of asking the routine question of how his day was, I ask him what magical thing happened today. Try this with someone you know, because it'll have you both looking for something magical in each day!
"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." ~ Dr. Seuss. This is still one of my favourite quotes, because it is the perfect reminder to be yourself; because those who matter will love you for You! And that's the way it should be. So, stop caring what people think, stop feeling guilty for being you (yes I just came back to that one), and unabashedly be Who You Are, and love every quirky wonderful second of it! ^_^

Get out there and look for the magic, practice these points every day this week, and go and create a super duper fantastic day!
Much love from me to you!

Just because it's Monday doesn't mean you can't have fun, smile, and enjoy Today! Apply these tips to your week and try to tell me that you don't start to see an improvement in your life! ;)
It's all about You! Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

Law of Attraction tip: Always start and end your day with conscientious practices. In the morning, take a minute just to give thanks for everything in your day in advance, all the things you want to happen that day, give thanks as if they have already happened; announce that you are going to have an awesome day, nay, Choosing to have a kick-ass day; and be sure to add a little "I am grateful for the good news I am receiving today"--works wonders! At the end of your day, take a minute before your head hits the pillow to list off all the things you were grateful for that day. Five minutes of your day will completely transform your entire life, so don't slack on these practices!
Get Inspired by Random Acts of Kindness! Check out these 18 random acts of kindness (click) to feel all warm and fuzzy inside, to get inspired, and to get out there and perform your own acts of kindness! Remember, you should try to do one act a day! :)
Respect Yourself! I think it's so easy to not respect your own sanity, wishes, and basic and deep emotional needs. We disregard them to please others all too frequently. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to help others out and to please others, but it should never be at a sacrifice to your own well-being. Learn when to say yes and when to say no--and stop feeling badly for sticking up for yourself when you do need to say no!
Make the most of Fall! It's officially fall, summer is officially over. Boo. Well, it's time to make the most of fall! Try to get outside every say the sun is shining. If it's raining, go and dance in the rain. Play in the leaves. Get outside as much as possible, and find new fun things to do. And enjoy cozy days in as well. Remember, weather is circumstantial, it's your attitude that will determine whether or not you're going to have a good time. So choose to have a good time!
Do Something Spontaneous… And totally out of character! Why? Because you need to learn to stop taking yourself so seriously! ;) Have a little fun, be a little silly, and stop caring what others think! Bust out dance moves in the supermarket; give a stranger a high-five; sing at the top of your lungs… you know, cliche silly things ;) or anything else really silly and random. Just do it!
Believe in Magic! You create your life! You, you, you! What you believe in will manifest into your life. If you spend all your time believing that life sucks and is mean to you, then you are going to have a pretty not-so-great life. If you believe that life is fantastic and that magical things happen every single day all over the world, then your life is going to be something pretty epic! So choose to believe in magic!
"Your mind can be a place of torment—a hellish hall of horrible images that rack your emotions, quicken your heart rate, and keep you up while others doze. You create your own misery all the while lusting for a moment’s peace. Your circumstances are no worse than anyone else’s, but you magnify them to mountain size because you dwell on them so intensely." ~ Metal Motivation.

Hope you're making the most of these first few days of fall! Now get out there and create a damn good day! ^_^
Much love from me to you!

It's all about You! Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

Law of Attraction tip: Remember that the Law of Attraction can so easily spiral in either the good or bad direction. When things feel great and abundance is flowing, it's easy for it to spiral and keep coming. But when you are lacking then it's very easy for things to continue to be in a state of lack. The challenge is to shift your attitude, your energy. Feeling Good is key. Once you start to Feel Good then you will experience an abundance in all aspects of your life.
Life is Not Unhappiness! The implication is that unhappiness is part of life, and we’re to make the best of it and learn from it, while happiness comes from outside: from sensual enjoyments, possessions, other people, or God. But Happiness comes from within and is achievable for absolutely anyone. Don't settle with unhappiness, don't just accept that it has to be a part of your life. Life is booming with so many wonderful things, and it all starts with you, your attitude, and your Choosing to be Happy! Life is not suffering, only our minds make it so!
Take a Breather! And take a moment to unwind this week. Run yourself a nice warm bath with candles and some soft music. Leave the book and the smartphone, and anything else away. Just take a moment to breathe, to be still with your mind, and to just relax.
Life is Right Now! Stop procrastinating, stop not trying your hardest or doing your best, or pushing for your dreams. Life is right now, the time is right now. Stop placing things in the distant future. Play like you Practice! Do your best, try your hardest, because time can slip by so quickly and you don't want to miss the opportunities that come from actually putting yourself out there and just going for it!
Stop comparing your life to others. Your life has nothing to do with theirs. You are not them, You are You! And you while you may imagine their world to be perfect, remember that it never is. Everyone has ups and downs and struggles and can paint on a smile. Stop comparing yourself and your life to others. Find your own happiness!
Fill in this Space. Life is learning, experiencing, and doing things for yourself. You have so much that you've learned that you may forget or push to the back of your mind. Draw it back out and create your own tip to follow for the week! Take a leap, be your own voice of empowerment driving you forwards!
"If it can be fixed; why worry? If it can’t be fixed, what’s the point of worrying?" ~ Shantideva. Don't Worry! The Buddhist rule re Worrying is simple: don’t. As displayed below… ;)

Get out there and create the best damn day ever! Every week, every day, every second is an opportunity to live your life to the fullest, so go do it! :)
Much love from me to you!

It's all about You! Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

Law of Attraction tip: It is so important for you to be Grateful for everything that you have in your life. Without first being grateful for what you already have, there is no way to invite more good things to you to be grateful for. Attracting good into your life absolutely starts with being thankful and appreciating what you already have, from the tiny little details to the amazingly large. Be grateful for waking up in the morning, be grateful for every penny to your name, be grateful for the health you have, for the roof over your head, for your food, for everything!
Re-Apply Past Lessons.  It's so easy to read something once, feel like you've got it all figured out and then forget the lesson entirely within a matter of days, weeks, or months. Go back and re-read one of my articles about how to be happy! ^_^ Yes, this is your task for the week. Happiness requires rewiring that brain, so don't get lazy! Re-read, re-learn, and surround yourself with positive and inspiring words! At ReLove there are so many inspirational articles I've written--go take another look and relearn something new.
Don't Complicate Things! We are absolutely terrible at creating problems that don't exist, or dwelling on things that don't matter. Stop it! Learn to let things go, to enjoy the moment, and to stop seeking out drama. Of course, there are times and situations in life where problems need addressing and working through, but try to be conscious about which ones matter and which ones are coming from insecurities with yourself and/or looking for drama--don't self-sabotage your happiness!
Enjoy the Natural World! Nature is bliss, nature is life, nature is all that is good! Get outside and enjoy it as much as possible. Go for a walk, go on an epic hike. Climb a tree, swim in the lakes and oceans. Go to the far reaches of nature that you have not yet explored. Breathe nature into your lungs and feel and love all that it has to offer.
Let your dreams change. Maybe you have this one career or idea in mind of what you wanted your life to be, and you've struggled through it, miserably, resenting everything about it, but you stick through it, all in the hopes that this imagined end goal will be the answer to your happiness… well, that isn't living and that goal isn't going to magically bring you happiness. Life slips by quickly when you sacrifice your current happiness for imagined future happiness for an extended amount of time. People tell you to do what you love. That’s not an expression, it’s a philosophy. Switch your dreams to something that makes you happy right now, not hopefully happy later.
Be a Fully Expressed Being at Every Moment. You are so dynamic and so lovely and have so much to offer the world. Never let people or things overshadow your greatness. Be the best version of yourself, the Fullest version of yourself, in every moment.
"It takes a lot of courage to go out there and radiate your essence."
Get out there and create the best damn day ever! Every week, every day, every second is an opportunity to live your life to the fullest, so go do it! :)
Much love from me to you!

Hey! Sorry Loves, I've been camping over the long weekend and am rather exhausted ;p Soooo, this Motivational Monday we're going to do something a little different…
Below are your set of rules for the week. So, it is your job to apply them as much as possible. Make them your desktop photo, or your phone's background image, or plaster them somewhere in your room, basically anywhere that you will see and read them often this week. That's your homework. And then next Monday I would love to hear how your week went by applying these rules! Come back and leave a comment on this post. :)
Happy Happy Monday!!

☺ You Deserve to Be Happy! ☺

I have some good news for you: You Deserve to Be Happy! Yes, You!
The bad (and sad) news is that most of us don't actually believe we deserve to be happy.
Our lack of this good feeling of deserving to be happy stops us from living life to it's fullest potential. When we feel like we don't deserve to be happy, we place barriers around ourselves that stop the good things from coming in. It makes us cause our relationships and any possible good things that do manage to sneak through to fall apart rather instantly. We start to look for things to go wrong, seeking them out, drawing them out, making them magically appear out of nowhere. It makes us pick fights and get into disagreements with the people we care about. It makes us feel depressed. It keeps us trapped in this terrible bubble that circles over and over until we can actually learn to love ourselves and accept that we do indeed deserve to be happy.

The reason that most of us don't believe we deserve to be happy is thanks to our insecurities and our general lack of liking and loving ourselves. Society teaches us that to love ourselves is a show of vanity, of being conceded, and this is a bad attitude that needs to halt. Love starts with yourself, you must must must love yourself in order to be happy and in order to love the people and things around you. So, you don't just deserve to be happy, you also deeply greatly do deserve to be loved.
Happiness and love are really one in the same, and both of them start with You. You can't expect to have an abundance, or much at all, of either of these wonderful things if you can't work on yourself and place yourself into a mentality and openness to let them in.
I don't care what you have been through in your life, I don't care what shitty circumstances might be going on around you, I don't care how badly another person has made you feel about yourself, because, you know what? You are awesome! Despite anything that has happened or will happen in your life, you are awesome! Yes, you! And the more that you believe that, the more you will love life, love yourself, and welcome goods things into your life. You will become an inspiration to those around you and you can fill others up with that same joy because that energy will become so contagious and spill over onto others.

The feeling of not deserving to be happy also comes from being entirely too hard on ourselves for past mistakes and for things that were quite often out of our control, but that we have taken the blame deeply upon ourselves.
The past is the past, you can't change anything that happened, and the more you try to deny that the longer you will remain in this state of lovelessness. Things happen. To everyone! Taking on the blame doesn't change anything. Carrying that blame around with you will only serve as the chains to your depression and it makes things worse for the ones you love as well. If you want to help others, if you want to help yourself, then choose to be happy, and you do that by making changes and letting go of the past.
What you need to realize is that almost everyone has gone through some shitty things in their lives. Everyone has done things that they regret, things that they don't feel so good about, things that they deem as "awful" and "unforgivable." So is that where we should stop? Just sit there and wallow in that negativity and just accept that we've done some shitty things, that "god" or the universe, or some holy power has deemed us unfixeable? Or, is it not better to get back up and try again? If you don't like who you are, change it! You get to choose who you are. You get to choose how you are going to live your life. You get to choose whether or not good things can enter your life or not.

You deserve happiness. Maybe, sometimes life makes you feel like you don't. Maybe sometimes your headspace makes you feel like a bad person, and therefor undeserving of good things. That mentality is the only thing stopping those good things from coming into your life. If you don't open the door, they can't get in! You have to let them in! The door is your bad attitude, so learn to love yourself and then you'll be able to open the door again. Happiness IS within your reach.
Okay, so maybe it's not as easy as waving a magic wand and going, "Tadaaaa! I love myself! I deserve happiness! Woot woot!" Because, maybe, you just can't let go of that nagging awful mentality that you simply don't deserve good things and that you're not a good person. I've been there, so I know the feeling. Here's the thing; I used to hate myself, I mean utterly despise myself. I was a suicidal, depressed, self-loathing mess for a long portion of my life. You know what changed? I woke up. I started working on myself every single day. I started getting help, reading books, and looking at myself differently. I realized that I could be a person that I was proud of and liked--and loved.
If you don't feel good about yourself then that's something you must work on everyday. And I mean every day! Every day until life gets easier and you fall in love with your wonderful self (and even after that) you should be doing gratitude practices for yourself. A simple and amazing practice that I still do when life feels rough, and when I may not be feeling so good about myself, is this… get a pen and paper (or I highly recommend having a Happy Diary) and write down a list of all the things you love about yourself. Write down small things, big things, things that you want to be and write them down as if that's who you are already. Write and write until you feel that energy shift within yourself and you genuinely feel better about yourself. Again, you Do get to choose who you are, and if you want to change then this is a good practice to become the greatest version of yourself. Do this practice every morning and every night, or at the very least, once a day.
You don't have to be miserable forever. You don't have to hate yourself. You have such amazing wonderful unlimited potential inside of yourself and your lack of self love is holding you back from living your life to the fullest and being the amazing person that, deep down inside, you always truly are. It's time to let go of those restricting thoughts and allow that wonderful person inside of yourself to come out and play and smile and be happy.
So, one more time: You Deserve to Be Happy!

Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

Law of Attraction tip: Remember that what you talk about most is what you are attracting. So, while it's nice to vent and talk about our problems to work through them, we must be careful that our focus isn't more consistently on the problem instead of the solution. Our worst habit is still talking too much about our problems instead of the joys in our lives, so watch your speech and switch it onto something positive.
Practice Self-Gratitude!  Almost nothing diminishes our sense of worth more than our own selves. It's an easy mentality to fall into since we tend to take things too harshly, listen to others criticisms too much, and degrade ourselves by comparing ourselves to others. These are all bad habits that need reversing, but most importantly, you need to spend time on your Self. Every single day, without fail, without slacking, take time to write a love letter to yourself. Remind yourself that you are an awesome person, of all the qualities you like about yourself, and generally just focus on how kick-ass you are! Because you are! ^_^
Put the Damn Phone Down! Our addiction to our smartphones is getting to the point of ridiculousness. I mean, really ridiculousness. I'm not saying I'm not guilty of busting out my phone and taking photos of everything (although, to be fair, I did this when I just had a camera before I had my phone), but moderation I think is key here. Technology can be a wonderful thing, but let's not become brainwashed zombies who can't do anything but turn to our phones every few minutes. Try leaving it far away when you can, and turn it onto silence when you're out with friends.
You are What You Eat! Remember last motivational monday when I told you to indulge? Well, I hope you're done because now it's time to eat super duper clean and good! Our food directly affects our mentalities and we too often overlook this. You absolutely are what you eat, so eat food that fuels you, that takes care of your body and your soul.
Go for a walk. Take a route you don’t normally take. Explore. Just enjoy walking, saying thank you with every step, and breathing in some fresh air. Walking clears our minds and makes us feel good. So try going for a walk every day this week.
Focus on the Positive! The most cliche of all advice and the one I will repeat over and over again. ;) Focus on your joy, instead of on your pain. Meaning, no whining, complaining, or frowning; instead learn to smile and focus on what makes you feel good!
"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." - Eleanor Roosevelt. Follow your dreams and follow your heart. Your dreams may change and that's okay, but always put your heart into it and the world becomes a more beautiful place.

Get out there and create the best damn day ever! Every week, every day, every second is an opportunity to live your life to the fullest, so go do it! :)
Much love from me to you!

Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

Thoughts are Things: Thoughts have a frequency, they are real energy, and they have Power. Make sure the thoughts you are emitting are positive!
Jealousy is an ugly look on anyone. Learn to be happy for other people's triumphs instead of turning to negative jealous or envy. It's a terrible thing to down play another's successes simply because it is not you in their place. Just be happy for them. And be the best that you can be instead of acting upon or feeling jealousy or envy. Success will come your way if you can learn to be praise another's success instead of becoming jealous--remember there is enough for everyone.
Make someone Happy Today! There is nothing that fills the heart more than the ability to brighten someone's day and to make them smile. Go out of your way this week, every day, to put a smile on another's face. :)
Things always have a way of working out.  So never underestimate the power of faith, positivity, and good thoughts. Look back on any difficult or stressful moments in your life and look at them now; chances are they've been resolved and long forgotten; and if they haven't chances are that they are leading to something amazing. So have faith and stay positive and resolve will come to you faster.
Follow your Passions! Follow your passions, your dreams, and the things you enjoy, and then the right opportunities will come to you. If you don't know what you want to do in life for work, then start with your passions. Don't tell yourself that your passions cannot become your life, there are endless possibilities and when you become true to your heart then those opportunities will present themselves and you will live the life of your dreams.
Become a Team Player! While this particularly applies to your relationship with your significant other, it can be applied to any relationship… Be a team player! Instead of fighting, getting on each other's nerves, and constantly pitting yourselves against one another, learn to compromise, to talk things out, to find resolve, and to overall be on each other's side. Your relationships will become much more harmonized, respectful, and happy when you do this.
"It is Your task to nurture your soul with kindness, love, respect, tolerance, forgiveness, and confidence. For a balance and hearty meal of awesomeness creates a life of happiness." ~ Dodinsky.

Create a Nice Day!!
Much Love from me to you!

Law of Attraction tip: Remember that your state of mind is what will determine what is coming into your life. It is not always an exact thought that will manifest but what frequencies you may be on; the happier you feel the more you'll attract other happy things to enter your life; if you feel frustrated or sad then you'll attract more things into your life that will make you feel frustrated or sad. This is why a good place to start is by focussing on your happiness, and then try to manifest actual things when you feel good.
Spend Time Outside! Every day! Commit yourself to spending at least 30 minutes outside each day! Even on rainy days, find some shelter outside and watch the storm, or dance in the rain, that's always fun! Just get out! Head to the park or a nature trail.  Pack a picnic or just enjoy some relaxation on a park bench.
Give Hugs!  Hugs are seriously the best things ever! Try to give and receive as many hugs as you can in a day. Hugs are good for your health and happiness and are a fantastic way to pass on goodness to others too! :) And none of those half-assed hugs, I mean real tight warm hugs!
Whoever is Happy will Make Others Happy Too.  Remember that helping others starts with helping yourself. If you're feeling helpless and unable to help someone then don't take that on; if you want to help someone then help yourself first: become happy, become a ray of sunshine in their dark world; be an inspiration for them. Being happy around others will boost their mood and pass on those positive vibes. So start with yourself and your happiness will become contagious!
Follow the three Rs: Respect for self. Respect for others. Responsibility for all your actions.
Be gentle with the earth. Don't forget about mother nature; nurture it, take care of it, do your part to leave the world a better place then when you came here. Every action counts. Don't litter, be conscious of your carbon footprint, use eco friendly products that don't harm earth. Do your part!
"Do what you love and don't look at the clock." ~ An Landers. Be in the present moment, enjoy whoever you're with right now and whatever you're doing right now. Happiness is now. Stop paying so much attention to the time or it will pass by too quickly, instead focus on having enough time to enjoy your passions, and enjoy them with all your heart and without distraction.

Create a Nice Day!!
Much Love from me to you!

Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

Focus on the Good, Not the Bad! It's amazing the people I see and know that Know how the Law of Attraction works and they still go against it. The more you complain about your life the more you will attract more things to complain about. The more you talk about the good things in your life the more you'll attract more good things. Stop dwelling on the bad and look for the thing to be grateful for instead. Okay? Okay!
Own It!  If you're dancing in your car or in the grocery store, or just plain enjoying being yourself and being silly then Own It! No being embarrassed when someone sees you, who cares?! Chances are you'll totally make someones day if they see you anyway because happiness is contagious. ;)
Try Smiling! Feeling down? Try smiling! Feeling moody? Try smiling! Can't turn that mood around? Try smiling? Smiling sends happy signals to your brain so the more you smile the more you will Feel Happy! So smile smile smile smile smile! Oh, and don't forget to SMILE!
Learn Something New!  Excite your brain and go out of your way to learn something new. Knowledge is fun, just don't let it make you have a big head. ;) After all, knowledge is useful but action is wisdom. But learning is fun and the more you learn the more you can apply to life and see life through new eyes.
Take Initiative with a New Friend! We get so timid us humans we do, so this week take some initiative to make that new friend. Most people are just like you and feel shy and insecure and feel that maybe you don't want to hang out with them. So you could be missing out on some amazing friendships if you don't do anything and at least put yourself out there. Most people also enjoy being social and seeing people so let go of the hesitant moment and be the one to make the first step. Even if the person doesn't want to hang out, don't take it personally, you're no worse off and now at least you know. Plus, everyone is different and not everyone is compatible. If someone doesn't want to be friends with you then you shouldn't want to be friends with that type of person either. Don't take it personally. Put yourself out there and you'll attract the right people, even if you have to try a few times. :)
Remember that Life is a Rollercoaster!  I can't tell you how many times I've experienced the super lows in my life and get discouraged. It happens to all of us. When you've worked so hard on yourself and your life to be happy then it's extra discouraging during the lows because you feel as if you have tried that hard and haven't gotten anywhere. It's easy to feel this way. But I will tell you, and chances are you know this to be true, but the low will pass and you'll feel even better than you did before once it passes. It's harder to think positive when you're in the middle of the low, so learn to have a good cry and let it out, talk and work through the issues and you'll be that much better when you come out of it. Promise!

Create a Nice Day!!

☺ Bring Your Own Sunshine! ☺

Life isn't always as easy as you want it to be. Sometimes you're surrounded by negative people, a job you don't like, or have to do something you don't want to do. But here's the thing; you can always bring your own sunshine.

Taking charge of your life and your happiness and becoming filled to the rim with bliss is as simple as choosing to smile in the morning. It's as simple as getting out of bed, no matter how grouchy or tired you may feel, and choosing to get excited about your day. Making happiness blossom in your life is as simple as putting one foot forward and declaring that today is going to be the best damn day!

The truth is that we have terrible brain habits built within us that mean when we start our day it's easier, and almost comforting, to just stay miserable. It's familiar, it's easy, it's almost natural to us. We simply accept that this is the way we are and that this is the way that life is.
No!
No more!
That is what you should be telling yourself, deciding for yourself. Life is as amazing as you make it. Sure, it's easy to get stuck in a rut, it may feel easier to drag your heels and just go with the mundane repetitive motions of your life, but is that really living? At all?!
Okay, so what naturally comes to us is to feel just sort of "meh," but that's because of our society, negativity, and, like I said, brain patterns that have been built up over the years that deplete our naturally happy levels of serotonin. But the lovely thing about brain patterns is that, low and behold, you can change them. Like magic! Suddenly your lethargic life can be filled with excitement and joy, simply by choosing to see the world differently and--you guessed it--bringing your own sunshine.

No one is responsible for your Happiness but you. If you read my blog often then you know that this is a reoccurring mantra I consistently repeat. Because it's true. Because I've been through the ups and downs of life and I know and understand it to be true. If you want to be happy then you have to Choose it. No one else can change your life for you.
Sure, you may have to do things you don't really want to do. You may be around people you don't like. So what? Everyone has moments like that. So you can either join the sad pity party, or you can bring your own sunshine. If someone has a frown then smile even wider. Laugh even harder. Spread joy even deeper. Just because someone else has a dampened spirit doesn't mean you should join in. On the contrary, you should be doing the opposite and be as happy and joyful as possible. Being negative around other negative people only feeds their and your negativity. The cycle continues. Endlessly. We fall into the habit. The all too easy habit. Break away! Smile! Be joyful! Be blissful! Dance down the streets, sing at the top of your lungs, tell a joke, do a good deed, tell someone how much you appreciate them. Your attitude is still your own and it will determine your entire day and your entire life. Break free of the bad habit of negativity, of "blahness." Learn to shine. Learn to start your day with excitement and a sense of adventure. Learn to see good and do good.

Make smiling your new habit. Learn to smile all day long. A frown or a plain blank sort of expression is our norm. People walk up and down streets and go about their day, with just this blank, almost serious, expression. You know what I'm talking about because if you grin as you walk down the street instead it almost feels strange. Is that not sad? What kind of a world do we live in when smiling isn't our normal expression? We should be smiling all the time! All day! When we're alone and when we're with others. It feels good! Go ahead and try it! Smile! Keep that smile! I bet you feel better already. Smiling is good for you, pure and simple, so make it your new habit. Catch yourself when you're not smiling and smile smile smile.

Smiling and joy are contagious. When you feel good, people pick up on it, and unless they are super uber stubborn Frowny Pants that refuse to be happy, then it will spill over onto others and make them feel good too.

So wake up in the morning with a positive mindset, a joyful heart, and be determined that today is going to be a glorious day! And remember, no matter what the day holds, to bring your own sunshine!

☺ Motivational Mondays! ☺

. . . . . . . . . .

. . . . . . . . . .

Make Feeling Good a Priority! It's sad to think that with all the things going on in our lives, happiness somehow gets placed on the back burner. Life is about happiness, it's about feeling good, this you must remember. And this is why you need to make feeling good a priority--nay, your Biggest Priority. Plus, when you feel good, all else will fall into place.
Spend the day being Lazy.  Every so often having the laziest possible day is a necessity. We work ourselves into the ground with work and even play sometimes so it's good to have some down time simply to do nothing and just veg out. I like to do this on a cozy rainy day, but really any day will do. Make it a point to stay in your pyjamas and be lazy at home. Have a you day, a day to read, write, draw, sprawl out across your bed and stare at the ceiling. Just enjoy a lazy day.
Stop Needing an Apology…  It was pointed out to me this week that apologies are selfish. This topic is something I want to write a full article on because it can play such a large role in our lives that blocks us from moving forward. But for now, learn to let go of needing an apology from another person. The second we need someone to apologize to us then we are placing our own happiness and state of life in someone else's hands, and that responsibility should only ever fall on you. Remember, you are responsible for your own happiness. So no asking for apologies, let it go, realize we're all going through something, and find new ways of acceptance and moving on.
Send someone a surprise gift. I don't think anything excites me more than receiving surprise letters or little goodies in the mail from friends. It's such a lovely feeling to know someone is thinking of you. Likewise, I love sending people surprises in the mail as well, for no other reason then to let them know I am thinking of them and love them. So pass it a long, whether it's a lovely letter or a little gift. Make a new pen pal if you can too. :)
Take part in the 30×30 Nature Challenge!  Join the David Suzuki Foundation’s 30×30 Nature Challenge by committing to spend at least 30 minutes a day outside in nature for 30 days in May. The more we connect to nature, the smarter, healthier and happier we are. Getting outside even makes us nicer and more likely to clean up the planet. Sign up here and take part!
Let go of the bad and Begin again! You can let hate, anger, animosity, fear, or any other negative emotion eat away at you, Or you can let it go and learn to begin again. Your choice.
Star your Next Chapter! We trap ourselves in the past, re-reading the events or refusing to let go. Most of our problems do come from our pasts: things we haven't resolved, bad habits we've formed, negative feelings about ourselves or others, and so forth. Working through the past is important to move forward, however you'll never actually make the first step onward if you keep returning there and don't leave. Make peace with your past, let it go, and start anew.

Don't forget to get out there and Create a Nice Day!!
Much Love from me to you!
