☺ Birthday Wish 2012! ☺

It's that time of year again, almost my birthday, which means I've got my Birthday Wish rolling on Facebook's causes. :)

This year I'm fundraising money for Animal Farm Sanctuary again because this place pulls on my heart strings. :)

Farm Sanctuary is one of the animal sanctuaries I got to visit when I was in New York last year and it was such a wonderful experience! Getting to see all the good they do for animals, giving them second chances at life and happiness. It's just indescribable. I still say it's a place that everyone needs to go to at least once in their lives. 

So please give what you can (I've already got the ball rolling and donated--and it's My birthday haha ;p). This is my birthday wish :) Although if you also want to send me cards in the mail that would also totally make my special day extra special. ;)

♥ Happy World Vegan Day! New items! ;) ♥

Ⓥ Vegan Kitchen: Favorite Dairy Alternatives Ⓥ

This Wednesday' Favorites is from my Vegan Kitchen! :) 

People sometimes think that being Vegan is difficult, well it's not, especially when there are soooo many dairy-alternatives out there to choose from! Here are some of my favorites that can be found in my kitchen...

Natura Rice Milk: There are sooo many milk alternatives out there! Soy milk, Almond milk, Hemp milk, Rice Milk, and more! Natura is a personal favorite--sugar free too! 

          Daiya Mozzarella Cheese: I've tried several different cheese alternatives before but this one is easily my favorite. Makes a wicked grilled cheese! :D 

Nancy's cultured Soy "yogurt": this soygurt is amazing!! I add it to smoothies, granola, with fruit, or eat it straight from the container! Sweetened with Agave Nectar so it's sugar-free. It also comes in different flavors.

Rice Dream "ice cream": omg this stuff is amazing!! Seriously, you don't need ice cream, there are sooo many awesome alternatives! This Cocoa Marble Fudge Rice Dream is awesome! I've also tried Coconut "ice creams" before that I loved and Soy-alternatives and have loved them all! This one is sweetened with Agave Nectar though which is why I usually choose it over the soy ones, but there are some amazing flavors out there in the soy variety! 

Endangered Species Chocolate Bars: and of course, everyone needs a chocolate replacement ;). These are 72% dark chocolate and sweetened with beet sugar. Totally dairy-free :). They taste amazing, although some of you may have to get used to the "healthy" taste and adjust from gross sugary candy-bars ;). 

Earth Balance "butter": I don't actually use margarine/butter or anything much but when I do need some Earth Balance is awesome! :)

Tofutti Cream Cheese: I don't eat much cream cheese either but this stuff is awesome. Makes a great cheesecake too ;)

Soy Nice Noel Nog: I know the season has kinda passed but I thought I'd share this one anyways. I personally found regular eggnog too rich to begin with so this stuff is perfect! A great soy alternative during the holiday season with no stealing milk from baby cows ;)

☯ What's in my Closet: Vegan-Themed Shirts!! ☯

I very rarely keep a t-shirt as a t-shirt but here are some of my favorites from my personal wardrobe, altered or not. The theme? Vegan of course ~_^ Some are Eco-friendly too! But here's a great conversation starter to get people interested in the reasons why someone becomes Vegan & a fun way to show your love for animals ^_^...

Sick on Sin "Not My Dinner (Pig)": This is probably my all-time favorite top ever! The Pig is soooo cute and Piggies are my favorite ♥. I revamped this one into a cute lacey racer-back.

Alter-Eco Clothing "Vegan": Yeah, this one was made by myself ~_^ and is available as a Custom Order in the shop ^_^. Organic fabric and upcycled animal-print letters that spell out "Vegan."

Skelanimals "Animal Testing Breaks Hearts":  I've had my eyes on this shirt foreverrrrrr! I finally decided to treat myself to it for my birthday this year when PETA sent a birthday %off "gift." Apparently it was a good choice as they don't seem to have it in their shop anymore! Needless to say, I love it! It's not organic but it does support a good cause of course. 

Trashrags "Milk Sucks": Her shop may be closed for a while but I had to share this amazing shirt anyways. Plus Jetta is awesome and has a wicked blog too ;) This tee may be in your face but I'm that kinda girl and I love it! ^_^ 

Rocky The Zombie "Buddy Not Beef": As you may already know, I LOVE Rocky the Zombie ^_^ Her prints are adorable! She made this awesome shirt as a kind of request--it's even printed on an Organic shirt ^_^.
