Tell us a bit about yourself.

We are a loving family (Sasha and Veronika) and a company (Herbolution) who are conscious about current state of The Planet which directly affects our health and well-being. After long searches for a healthy and natural personal care products we came to a conclusion that many companies that try to take good care of their customers take very little care of the Earth and visa verse. So we decided to combine the two goods while putting more accent on really natural and chemical-free craftsmanship of products that are used for enhancement of health and well-being of the body and soul as well as home environment.

How did Herbolution come to be?

The idea of making really natural personal care products came to our minds after we stepped onto a path of healthy and environmentally conscious lifestyle. Our knowledge of herbs plus young, fresh and passionate drive to "change the world" gave birth to Herbolution - an alternative to commonly used personal care products or even sometimes fake "natural" options from big corporations. Our path is fresh, narrow and steep, but Herbolution is strong in its beliefs and is confident in eco- and health consciousness of present and future customers.

Where do you find inspiration?

Our love of Herbs, sincere care for Planet, love to each other and creative urge to craft things that are beneficial to both Earth and people and enjoyable and the same time – all that is our inspiration and never-ending source of ideas.

If you had all the money in the world, what handmade item would you buy?

We would get an artisan crafted sail boat and would take a trip around the world on it ;)

What got you started on an eco-friendly path?

Permaculture certification course that we took several years ago went deep into affects of human activity on Nature and Environment in general and provided smart solution to create a “permanent” ever-growing culture replacing the current regressive culture that destroys itself and life around us.

“Only 8 percent of the total plastic waste generated in 2010 was recovered for recycling.“

This means that 92 out of a 100 of plastic bottles or containers or bags go to environment to pollute for hundreds of years our air, oceans and soil. We at Herbolution do our best to offer our products in plastic-free containers (currently 85% of all our products are plastic-free) and ship all orders in 100% biodegradable packaging.

Best piece of advice for life in general?

Remember that we depend on harmony of life on the Planet and should appreciate all Nature as much as a child appreciates his parents as he depends on them so greatly.

☯ What's in my Closet: Orange Dipped in Chocolate by Herbolution ☯

I have already mentioned how much I love Herbolution. They are an amazing little company run by some wonderful people, containing some of the most amazing body products I have had the pleasure of using. I think it is safe to say that I have a healthy addiction ;) and my body loves the organic and healthy ingredients.

I tried their "Dipped Orange in Chocolate" Body Polish in the sample size over christmas and just fell completely in love. While the scent immediately won me over, the scrub is also simply amazing, with a wonderful exfoliating effect combined with the moisturizing benefits of cocoa butter to leave my skin silky smooth and beautiful. However, my love for the yummy orange-chocolate combination drove me to approach the lovely Sasha and Veronika of Herbolution about making a body butter and body spray. Being the wonderful people that they are, they made the products and I am very excited to be the first to try them! 

When my package arrived I'll admit that I may have squealed like a little girl. As usual, I was delighted by their amazing efforts to be as earth-friendly as possible. From the recycled box, banana-paper invoice and note, biodegradable peanuts and wrapping, and the friendly glass-jars the products come in, this company rocks! Opening the new products was like christmas morning all over again, enthralled by the aspect of new yummy scents and products to indulge in. My senses were immediately humming in the playful fragrance of sweet orange and rich chocolate. So good it is tempting to eat--although I don't recommend it ;). 

The body butter is made with lovely and enriching aloe butter, jojoba oil and other healthy and beneficial organic ingredients. As with all of their body butters, it is such a wonderfully rich moisturizer that is also filled with the nourishment of vitamins. The butter melts on the skin upon contact while that lovely aroma fills your nostrils and even the driest skin can feel relief from their natural and nourishing ingredients. 

The body spray is perfect as well, the blend of scents is so yummy I can't help use the stuff all day and make everyone around me smell it too. 

I can't put into words just how much I love these new products. Chocolate and orange...you can't really go wrong with that combination. Throw in the fact that Herbolution makes products that work, are chemical-free, good for you and good for the planet and, well, you just can't go wrong here.

☯ What's in my Closet: Herbolution: Body & Face Care ☯

I absolutely looooove this Etsy Shop! Herbolution is a fantastic little Earth-conscious company that makes wonderful chemical-free and Animal friendly Personal Care Products! They are a definite favorite! 

I have done many many searches for natural beauty products that are actually chemical free and safe for our bodies, and let me tell you, they are hard to come by! This company is all win for me! 

The products are 100% Natural, use certified Organic ingredients, and are mostly Vegan. They also have a beautiful Green footprint and, like myself, are consciously working and aware of reducing our effects to Mother Earth. They use recycled paper products and use biodegradable cellulose bags with eco-ribbon!

My favorites in "my closet"...

Organic ChocoLate Vanilla Body Butter is my all-time favorite! It smells soooo ridiculously good you'll want to eat it (but don't ~_^)! Perfect for any chocolate lover! It is rich, moisturizing, and keeps skin super smooth and beautiful! I have tried some of their other body butter flavors as well and let me tell you, there is no losing no matter which one you choose; they all smell and work beautifully! 

Organic Coconut Vanilla Fudge Scrub Body Polish is pure love for your body! A beautiful scrub that, again, smells delicious and leaves skin super smooth and beautiful! 

Organic Raspberry Face Scrub Natural is a favorite but all of Herbolution's facial scrubs are superb! They work amazing! My face loves them! 

This is all I have tried so far but I would love to have everything in this shop! I have a horrible almond allergy that prevents me from using some of their most tempting products. So if there's nothing stopping you, go for it! Seriously, you will not regret any purchase from Herbolution!
