☺ Motivational Mondays! ☺

. . . . . . . . . .

We're taking back Mondays!!!
"Motivational Mondays" are fabulous tips to get you excited and pumped for the week!
Feeling low? Moody? Down on life? Well, that's what these posts are for! Time to feel awesome again and get some Positivity rolling! Just because it's Monday doesn't mean you can't have fun, smile, and enjoy Today! Apply these tips to your week and try to tell me that you don't start to see an improvement in your life! ;)
It's all about You! Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

Law of Attraction tip: Don't pay so much attention on the negative thoughts. Negative thoughts will come, no matter how positive you try to keep yourself. Your job is not to stop the negative thoughts, your job is to fill your head with as many positive thoughts as you can to counter-act the negative ones. The more positively you can think the more the negative thoughts (and therefore experiences) will slip away on their own.
Get Outside for 30 minutes a Day! I know, I know, it's getting colder, and maybe it's like where I live where the rain has been pretty socked in. Still try to get outside for at least 30 minutes a day, even if it means sitting in the cover somewhere. If you can, try to ground your feet to the earth as well, but at least try to get outside, it'll do your mind wonders!
Stop Feeling Guilty! Stop feeling badly or guilty for the things that you want to do. I have to say it is one of the worst underlying stresses in life when there is someone constantly making you feel badly for just being you. And I think this problem usually stems from insecurity of not wanting the other person to do things without them. Talk to whoever might be making you feel this way, stick up for yourself, and no more feeling guilty. Do things for You, without the guilt, because that guilt will weigh you down in the form of heavy accumulating stress and resentment.
Stop Feeling Insecure! While we're on the topic, stop feeling insecure as well! I know it's not as easy as snapping your fingers and magically all your insecurities are gone, but Try. Stop constantly feeling like everything your boyfriend/girlfriend/significant other is doing is because they aren't interested in you--because in the majority of cases, that's not at all what's going on (it's not always about you ;) ). Start loving and appreciating yourself and others will too, and the insecurities will start to diminish.
Do Something for your Health. This week, I want you to do something new for your health! Whether that means cutting out sugar or some other bad foods; cutting back on meat; quitting dairy; balancing out your omega ratios; drinking more water; or any other number of things. There is so much that we can do for our health, so start taking care of your body--it will also take care of your mind!
Always Believe Something Wonderful is about to Happen! Life can be mundane, life can be tough, life can be just plain tricky some days. But, it's always magical, and there are always amazing things just waiting for us to notice. So, enter each day believing something wonderful is about to happen. I've started this new thing with my husband, whenever he comes home from work, instead of asking the routine question of how his day was, I ask him what magical thing happened today. Try this with someone you know, because it'll have you both looking for something magical in each day!
"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." ~ Dr. Seuss. This is still one of my favourite quotes, because it is the perfect reminder to be yourself; because those who matter will love you for You! And that's the way it should be. So, stop caring what people think, stop feeling guilty for being you (yes I just came back to that one), and unabashedly be Who You Are, and love every quirky wonderful second of it! ^_^

Get out there and look for the magic, practice these points every day this week, and go and create a super duper fantastic day!
Much love from me to you!

☺ It's Okay Not to Be Okay ☺

Take all the time you need to heal emotionally.
Moving on doesn't take a day. It takes a lot of little steps to be able to break free of your broken self.

It's Okay not to Be Okay! This is such a vital lesson on the route to healing, and yet, I feel as if it is often overlooked or not addressed deeply enough.

It's easy to feel discouraged when you experience the downward spiral. It's easy to forget about all the progress you've made when you are trapped in one of those circles of melancholy. It's natural. The worst thing you can do is beat yourself up about not being okay--which is something we all too often do.
The mentality comes from this: you've made all this progress, have had days that feel good, have been working on yourself tirelessly, trying really hard, feeling like you're getting better, and putting in all this effort. But then… it all spirals due to one event or just a bad reoccurring cycle. Because all of a sudden we feel badly, we feel as if something is wrong, that we're not doing it right, that we shouldn't feel this way because, well, look at all the hard work you've been doing! It doesn't seem fair. It doesn't seem right. You feel hopelessly at a loss and as if the world is against you. And you feel as if all that progress, all that hope, was all imaginary and that you are a lost cause and that you'll be this way forever…

Sound familiar?

Chances are that it does. But, fret not! You are not alone! Not only are you not alone, but you are also still within the great reaches of love and help and happiness. Happiness IS still attainable. This too shall pass.

I address this issue because I feel as if it is one of the often missed, but greatly deeply important, topics that are not spoken of enough. And I am guilty of this here at ReLove Plan.et: always focussing on the positive, smiling, telling you all to be happy.
It gets really annoying when you're having a rough patch and everyone around you just keeps telling you to smile and "just be happy." As if it's that easy. As if there is something even more wrong with you if you cannot "just be happy." As if you can plaster a smile on your face and everything will be okay again.
Sometimes this does work. Sometimes, it really doesn't. But when it doesn't: it's okay not to be okay.

Some days are not that easy. Some periods of our lives are just not that easy. And that's okay! It's OKAY NOT TO BE OKAY!
I really want this to settle into your deepest darkest thoughts, because it is comforting to know that this is okay; that you don't have to be smiling all the time, that you shouldn't feel good all the time. Life is about ups and downs. We all fall down, but it's whether or not we climb back up; or whether we allow ourselves to get so discouraged that we give up on climbing back up. I don't want you to give up, because you really have made so much progress, despite what the negative voices in your head may tell you. Every step is vital and important and has a deep impact upon your mind and well-being; even if those steps may feel insignificant at the time. Never forget the importance of every little step. Truly truly.

I want you to know that there is Nothing Wrong with You!

I want to share a little story of what brought me to this topic today, because I think it will inspire you--or at least that's my hope; to make you realize that you are not at all alone.
I was in the middle of one of my own downward spirals (I'm human, you know), and it was getting to the point where I was feeling really terribly frustrated. I was at the point of beating myself up over not being able to get out of this spiral, of dwelling in the negative emotions of helplessness and feeling as if I was simply a lost cause. I still tried; I continued to surround myself with as much positivity and inspiration as possible, but it just wasn't helping.
Now, I know why: because I was still beating myself up so badly over not feeling okay that it simply wasn't plausible for me to climb back up at that time. The thought of negativity towards myself, of feeling like I was unfixable, and that my entire life was going to contain these awful spirals of depression, was just too much for my happy mind to pull me out of. Even while I was trying; because negativity was still winning the day and I wasn't resolving or addressing that problem.
I remember along this spiral, my marriage was struggling: because I felt like I was always the problem. I was the one screwing up; I was the one always struggling; I was the one who was always moody and stressed and depressed. And, somehow, my husband was just okay and fine, and just plain peachy through it all. I felt like a burden. And it bothered me that he seemed so okay. Why was I the one that was so messed up? It's terrible, but it really really bothered me how happy he seemed to be. Funny how that works?
Two things later came into play here.
One: my husband was still human, and despite seeming outwardly okay, he was still struggling with this own demons as every person does. So my jealousy and envy were misplaced from the start, all because I was so wrapped up in my own depressive state that I was magnifying this illusion that everyone else was okay, and I was the only one who was a problem. Classic "poor me" syndrome that makes climbing back to happiness all the more difficult.
Two: I had the realization that the way I was viewing my husband was the way that my readers might view me. And I didn't want that. The irony was that I always do my best to show everyone my smiling self, my positive self, so that no one would even guess that I still struggled beneath the surface. I felt as if I could Only show the happy me, because to show any other side might discourage you into thinking you might not be happy. But I have come to realize the importance and value of the ups and downs in our lives and that everyone should know that everyone is human and that we all experience such highs and lows. And that's okay!
To be clear: the happy smiling me isn't fake. But, was I always okay? No. I focussed on the positive and smile as often as I can, and writing all the content of my blog makes me genuinely happy. When I write on the blog, it IS the happy, positive self that I love. It's not fake. But! That's not me all the time. And I think that it's equally important for people to know that, because, well: It's Okay Not to Be Okay! When I realized what I might be doing to the people I want to help by always showing the happy me, I realized that, perhaps, that illusion would become frustrating and garner the same feelings of being "unfixable." I don't want that for you. At all! I want to continue to give you help, advice, and lessons that will help your journey; and this is one of those important lessons. That it's okay and normal to be Human, and you can still move forward and be happy when the spiral ends.

Life is still rainbows and sunshine, and I am still smiling and happy most of the time. But storms still blow in. Such is life. And sometimes I get stuck in those storms, sailing in circles, until I can find my way again. And sometimes the ship falls apart altogether and I'm left to pick up the pieces, build a stronger boat, and sail back out into the sunshine where I will be better prepared, and sturdier, for the next storm. That is life! The downward slopes are there to teach us, they truly really truly are! We do have a choice what we do with our melancholy, and, so, no matter how Not Okay you may feel, you Can feel Okay again! Just keep up the good fight and know that you are not alone.

These are the things to remember:

You are Human! And it is Normal to feel angry, sad, happy, and all the ups and downs in between. No one should ever make you feel badly for being human. Ever! That is not the sort of support you need or deserve. You are Human! It is okay to feel fan-freakin-tastic! And it's okay to not feel okay too!

Drop the Guilt! The worst thing you can do is beat yourself up about not being okay.

This Too Shall Pass. When things are bad, no matter how bad, remember that it Will Pass. Find comfort in that. But, just as importantly, when things are great, remember that it too shall pass; so take the time to appreciate and be grateful when things are great.
My big problem was that I was so attached to how amazing my life was one summer, when it felt like I was walking on clouds, that I became jaded by it. It was such a state of bliss that when I lost it, I struggled rather badly to get happy again because I was so attached to that state of bliss that nothing else satisfied me. This is why it's equally important to let go of the good as much as the bad. Let life flow and then you will allow the richness to enter your life!

Look at all the progress you've made! No matter how rough things are, no matter how helpless and unfixable you feel, just stop and look back at where you were however long ago when you started this journey.
For example; even when I feel down and depressed again, I can stop and look back to where I started: I used to cut myself and I used to have suicidal thoughts daily. I don't have those anymore. So, no matter how down you may feel, even it's small progress, look back and smile and be fuckin proud of where you are now and that you are trying at all!

Healing takes time, so be patient with yourself. Especially when we have been depressed for years, our serotonin, endorphins, and all the stuff that makes our brains pump out happy thoughts are depleted. It takes time to build that back up again. It takes time to effortlessly feel happy. We are rewiring our brains, re-training it to be happy and to feel good on its own. So…

Work on Yourself! Take the time to work on yourself. It may seem tedious sometimes. Some days you may just not really "feel like" putting forth the effort to smile and be happy. So have a day to be down. But, don't get trapped in the negative mindset, because it's easy to just give up and not try. Do try. I promise you, every book or article you read, every inspirational movie you watch, every lover letter you write yourself, every entry into your Happy Diary, every practice of gratitude, is absolutely 100% worth your time and effort. Because you Will feel good! And every day will get easier, even when the chart of your life may go up and down, it is still heading in an upward slope.

Just do your Best! Take it one Step at a time and never get discouraged! When you're experiencing one of those spirals, just remember to start with one small positive thought in the morning. Just start there; it can set the tone for your entire day. Even if that is the only positive part of your day, you placed yourself into a position of control over your mood and happiness. And every step counts towards the bigger picture, remember? So, Just do your Best!

Remember how far you've come, no matter how far the road ahead may feel. Every step counts. Every smile counts. Every moment that you feel Good counts. All these little steps are deeply meaningful, so keep these with you, no matter how dark life can feel, and no matter how many downs you experience along your bumpy road. Remember that it's always worth it, and that every struggle is bringing you closer towards effortless happiness. It's always worth it.

You are human, and you are so amazingly wonderful! Hold onto that! It gets better! I promise that it does!

Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

Law of Attraction tip: Always start and end your day with conscientious practices. In the morning, take a minute just to give thanks for everything in your day in advance, all the things you want to happen that day, give thanks as if they have already happened; announce that you are going to have an awesome day, nay, Choosing to have a kick-ass day; and be sure to add a little "I am grateful for the good news I am receiving today"--works wonders! At the end of your day, take a minute before your head hits the pillow to list off all the things you were grateful for that day. Five minutes of your day will completely transform your entire life, so don't slack on these practices!
Get Inspired by Random Acts of Kindness! Check out these 18 random acts of kindness (click) to feel all warm and fuzzy inside, to get inspired, and to get out there and perform your own acts of kindness! Remember, you should try to do one act a day! :)
Respect Yourself! I think it's so easy to not respect your own sanity, wishes, and basic and deep emotional needs. We disregard them to please others all too frequently. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to help others out and to please others, but it should never be at a sacrifice to your own well-being. Learn when to say yes and when to say no--and stop feeling badly for sticking up for yourself when you do need to say no!
Make the most of Fall! It's officially fall, summer is officially over. Boo. Well, it's time to make the most of fall! Try to get outside every say the sun is shining. If it's raining, go and dance in the rain. Play in the leaves. Get outside as much as possible, and find new fun things to do. And enjoy cozy days in as well. Remember, weather is circumstantial, it's your attitude that will determine whether or not you're going to have a good time. So choose to have a good time!
Do Something Spontaneous… And totally out of character! Why? Because you need to learn to stop taking yourself so seriously! ;) Have a little fun, be a little silly, and stop caring what others think! Bust out dance moves in the supermarket; give a stranger a high-five; sing at the top of your lungs… you know, cliche silly things ;) or anything else really silly and random. Just do it!
Believe in Magic! You create your life! You, you, you! What you believe in will manifest into your life. If you spend all your time believing that life sucks and is mean to you, then you are going to have a pretty not-so-great life. If you believe that life is fantastic and that magical things happen every single day all over the world, then your life is going to be something pretty epic! So choose to believe in magic!
"Your mind can be a place of torment—a hellish hall of horrible images that rack your emotions, quicken your heart rate, and keep you up while others doze. You create your own misery all the while lusting for a moment’s peace. Your circumstances are no worse than anyone else’s, but you magnify them to mountain size because you dwell on them so intensely." ~ Metal Motivation.

Hope you're making the most of these first few days of fall! Now get out there and create a damn good day! ^_^
Much love from me to you!

It's all about You! Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

Law of Attraction tip: Remember that the Law of Attraction can so easily spiral in either the good or bad direction. When things feel great and abundance is flowing, it's easy for it to spiral and keep coming. But when you are lacking then it's very easy for things to continue to be in a state of lack. The challenge is to shift your attitude, your energy. Feeling Good is key. Once you start to Feel Good then you will experience an abundance in all aspects of your life.
Life is Not Unhappiness! The implication is that unhappiness is part of life, and we’re to make the best of it and learn from it, while happiness comes from outside: from sensual enjoyments, possessions, other people, or God. But Happiness comes from within and is achievable for absolutely anyone. Don't settle with unhappiness, don't just accept that it has to be a part of your life. Life is booming with so many wonderful things, and it all starts with you, your attitude, and your Choosing to be Happy! Life is not suffering, only our minds make it so!
Take a Breather! And take a moment to unwind this week. Run yourself a nice warm bath with candles and some soft music. Leave the book and the smartphone, and anything else away. Just take a moment to breathe, to be still with your mind, and to just relax.
Life is Right Now! Stop procrastinating, stop not trying your hardest or doing your best, or pushing for your dreams. Life is right now, the time is right now. Stop placing things in the distant future. Play like you Practice! Do your best, try your hardest, because time can slip by so quickly and you don't want to miss the opportunities that come from actually putting yourself out there and just going for it!
Stop comparing your life to others. Your life has nothing to do with theirs. You are not them, You are You! And you while you may imagine their world to be perfect, remember that it never is. Everyone has ups and downs and struggles and can paint on a smile. Stop comparing yourself and your life to others. Find your own happiness!
Fill in this Space. Life is learning, experiencing, and doing things for yourself. You have so much that you've learned that you may forget or push to the back of your mind. Draw it back out and create your own tip to follow for the week! Take a leap, be your own voice of empowerment driving you forwards!
"If it can be fixed; why worry? If it can’t be fixed, what’s the point of worrying?" ~ Shantideva. Don't Worry! The Buddhist rule re Worrying is simple: don’t. As displayed below… ;)

Get out there and create the best damn day ever! Every week, every day, every second is an opportunity to live your life to the fullest, so go do it! :)
Much love from me to you!

It's all about You! Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

Law of Attraction tip: It is so important for you to be Grateful for everything that you have in your life. Without first being grateful for what you already have, there is no way to invite more good things to you to be grateful for. Attracting good into your life absolutely starts with being thankful and appreciating what you already have, from the tiny little details to the amazingly large. Be grateful for waking up in the morning, be grateful for every penny to your name, be grateful for the health you have, for the roof over your head, for your food, for everything!
Re-Apply Past Lessons.  It's so easy to read something once, feel like you've got it all figured out and then forget the lesson entirely within a matter of days, weeks, or months. Go back and re-read one of my articles about how to be happy! ^_^ Yes, this is your task for the week. Happiness requires rewiring that brain, so don't get lazy! Re-read, re-learn, and surround yourself with positive and inspiring words! At ReLove there are so many inspirational articles I've written--go take another look and relearn something new.
Don't Complicate Things! We are absolutely terrible at creating problems that don't exist, or dwelling on things that don't matter. Stop it! Learn to let things go, to enjoy the moment, and to stop seeking out drama. Of course, there are times and situations in life where problems need addressing and working through, but try to be conscious about which ones matter and which ones are coming from insecurities with yourself and/or looking for drama--don't self-sabotage your happiness!
Enjoy the Natural World! Nature is bliss, nature is life, nature is all that is good! Get outside and enjoy it as much as possible. Go for a walk, go on an epic hike. Climb a tree, swim in the lakes and oceans. Go to the far reaches of nature that you have not yet explored. Breathe nature into your lungs and feel and love all that it has to offer.
Let your dreams change. Maybe you have this one career or idea in mind of what you wanted your life to be, and you've struggled through it, miserably, resenting everything about it, but you stick through it, all in the hopes that this imagined end goal will be the answer to your happiness… well, that isn't living and that goal isn't going to magically bring you happiness. Life slips by quickly when you sacrifice your current happiness for imagined future happiness for an extended amount of time. People tell you to do what you love. That’s not an expression, it’s a philosophy. Switch your dreams to something that makes you happy right now, not hopefully happy later.
Be a Fully Expressed Being at Every Moment. You are so dynamic and so lovely and have so much to offer the world. Never let people or things overshadow your greatness. Be the best version of yourself, the Fullest version of yourself, in every moment.
"It takes a lot of courage to go out there and radiate your essence."
Get out there and create the best damn day ever! Every week, every day, every second is an opportunity to live your life to the fullest, so go do it! :)
Much love from me to you!

Hey! Sorry Loves, I've been camping over the long weekend and am rather exhausted ;p Soooo, this Motivational Monday we're going to do something a little different…
Below are your set of rules for the week. So, it is your job to apply them as much as possible. Make them your desktop photo, or your phone's background image, or plaster them somewhere in your room, basically anywhere that you will see and read them often this week. That's your homework. And then next Monday I would love to hear how your week went by applying these rules! Come back and leave a comment on this post. :)

☺ You Deserve to Be Happy! ☺

I have some good news for you: You Deserve to Be Happy! Yes, You!
The bad (and sad) news is that most of us don't actually believe we deserve to be happy.
Our lack of this good feeling of deserving to be happy stops us from living life to it's fullest potential. When we feel like we don't deserve to be happy, we place barriers around ourselves that stop the good things from coming in. It makes us cause our relationships and any possible good things that do manage to sneak through to fall apart rather instantly. We start to look for things to go wrong, seeking them out, drawing them out, making them magically appear out of nowhere. It makes us pick fights and get into disagreements with the people we care about. It makes us feel depressed. It keeps us trapped in this terrible bubble that circles over and over until we can actually learn to love ourselves and accept that we do indeed deserve to be happy.

The reason that most of us don't believe we deserve to be happy is thanks to our insecurities and our general lack of liking and loving ourselves. Society teaches us that to love ourselves is a show of vanity, of being conceded, and this is a bad attitude that needs to halt. Love starts with yourself, you must must must love yourself in order to be happy and in order to love the people and things around you. So, you don't just deserve to be happy, you also deeply greatly do deserve to be loved.
Happiness and love are really one in the same, and both of them start with You. You can't expect to have an abundance, or much at all, of either of these wonderful things if you can't work on yourself and place yourself into a mentality and openness to let them in.
I don't care what you have been through in your life, I don't care what shitty circumstances might be going on around you, I don't care how badly another person has made you feel about yourself, because, you know what? You are awesome! Despite anything that has happened or will happen in your life, you are awesome! Yes, you! And the more that you believe that, the more you will love life, love yourself, and welcome goods things into your life. You will become an inspiration to those around you and you can fill others up with that same joy because that energy will become so contagious and spill over onto others.

The feeling of not deserving to be happy also comes from being entirely too hard on ourselves for past mistakes and for things that were quite often out of our control, but that we have taken the blame deeply upon ourselves.
The past is the past, you can't change anything that happened, and the more you try to deny that the longer you will remain in this state of lovelessness. Things happen. To everyone! Taking on the blame doesn't change anything. Carrying that blame around with you will only serve as the chains to your depression and it makes things worse for the ones you love as well. If you want to help others, if you want to help yourself, then choose to be happy, and you do that by making changes and letting go of the past.
What you need to realize is that almost everyone has gone through some shitty things in their lives. Everyone has done things that they regret, things that they don't feel so good about, things that they deem as "awful" and "unforgivable." So is that where we should stop? Just sit there and wallow in that negativity and just accept that we've done some shitty things, that "god" or the universe, or some holy power has deemed us unfixeable? Or, is it not better to get back up and try again? If you don't like who you are, change it! You get to choose who you are. You get to choose how you are going to live your life. You get to choose whether or not good things can enter your life or not.

You deserve happiness. Maybe, sometimes life makes you feel like you don't. Maybe sometimes your headspace makes you feel like a bad person, and therefor undeserving of good things. That mentality is the only thing stopping those good things from coming into your life. If you don't open the door, they can't get in! You have to let them in! The door is your bad attitude, so learn to love yourself and then you'll be able to open the door again. Happiness IS within your reach.
Okay, so maybe it's not as easy as waving a magic wand and going, "Tadaaaa! I love myself! I deserve happiness! Woot woot!" Because, maybe, you just can't let go of that nagging awful mentality that you simply don't deserve good things and that you're not a good person. I've been there, so I know the feeling. Here's the thing; I used to hate myself, I mean utterly despise myself. I was a suicidal, depressed, self-loathing mess for a long portion of my life. You know what changed? I woke up. I started working on myself every single day. I started getting help, reading books, and looking at myself differently. I realized that I could be a person that I was proud of and liked--and loved.
If you don't feel good about yourself then that's something you must work on everyday. And I mean every day! Every day until life gets easier and you fall in love with your wonderful self (and even after that) you should be doing gratitude practices for yourself. A simple and amazing practice that I still do when life feels rough, and when I may not be feeling so good about myself, is this… get a pen and paper (or I highly recommend having a Happy Diary) and write down a list of all the things you love about yourself. Write down small things, big things, things that you want to be and write them down as if that's who you are already. Write and write until you feel that energy shift within yourself and you genuinely feel better about yourself. Again, you Do get to choose who you are, and if you want to change then this is a good practice to become the greatest version of yourself. Do this practice every morning and every night, or at the very least, once a day.
You don't have to be miserable forever. You don't have to hate yourself. You have such amazing wonderful unlimited potential inside of yourself and your lack of self love is holding you back from living your life to the fullest and being the amazing person that, deep down inside, you always truly are. It's time to let go of those restricting thoughts and allow that wonderful person inside of yourself to come out and play and smile and be happy.
So, one more time: You Deserve to Be Happy!

Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

Law of Attraction tip: Remember that what you talk about most is what you are attracting. So, while it's nice to vent and talk about our problems to work through them, we must be careful that our focus isn't more consistently on the problem instead of the solution. Our worst habit is still talking too much about our problems instead of the joys in our lives, so watch your speech and switch it onto something positive.
Practice Self-Gratitude!  Almost nothing diminishes our sense of worth more than our own selves. It's an easy mentality to fall into since we tend to take things too harshly, listen to others criticisms too much, and degrade ourselves by comparing ourselves to others. These are all bad habits that need reversing, but most importantly, you need to spend time on your Self. Every single day, without fail, without slacking, take time to write a love letter to yourself. Remind yourself that you are an awesome person, of all the qualities you like about yourself, and generally just focus on how kick-ass you are! Because you are! ^_^
Put the Damn Phone Down! Our addiction to our smartphones is getting to the point of ridiculousness. I mean, really ridiculousness. I'm not saying I'm not guilty of busting out my phone and taking photos of everything (although, to be fair, I did this when I just had a camera before I had my phone), but moderation I think is key here. Technology can be a wonderful thing, but let's not become brainwashed zombies who can't do anything but turn to our phones every few minutes. Try leaving it far away when you can, and turn it onto silence when you're out with friends.
You are What You Eat! Remember last motivational monday when I told you to indulge? Well, I hope you're done because now it's time to eat super duper clean and good! Our food directly affects our mentalities and we too often overlook this. You absolutely are what you eat, so eat food that fuels you, that takes care of your body and your soul.
Go for a walk. Take a route you don’t normally take. Explore. Just enjoy walking, saying thank you with every step, and breathing in some fresh air. Walking clears our minds and makes us feel good. So try going for a walk every day this week.
Focus on the Positive! The most cliche of all advice and the one I will repeat over and over again. ;) Focus on your joy, instead of on your pain. Meaning, no whining, complaining, or frowning; instead learn to smile and focus on what makes you feel good!
"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." - Eleanor Roosevelt. Follow your dreams and follow your heart. Your dreams may change and that's okay, but always put your heart into it and the world becomes a more beautiful place.

Get out there and create the best damn day ever! Every week, every day, every second is an opportunity to live your life to the fullest, so go do it! :)
Much love from me to you!

. . . . . . . . . .

Law of Attraction tip: Thoughts Become Things. Thoughts Become Things. Thoughts Become Things. Pay attention to what you're thinking about; is it positive or is it negative? What do you want to attract? Positive or Negative? Thoughts Become Things!
Take Care of Yourself!  If you know something is affecting your health (both body and mind) negatively then take action immediately to remedy it. Don't stay static, do something about it and make a change. If you don't try then you'll never move forward.
Remember to Practice Random Acts of Kindness. It's the little things that can make a huge impact on someone's day, so do your part to make the world a little brighter. If you see an opportunity to help someone, take it. If you think of something sweet to do for someone, do it. Try to do a few acts of kindness where no one else knows you're doing them as well, that way it becomes more selfless--although it will make your soul feel good too!
Indulge! Because next week I'm going to tell you to purge. ;) If you want to eat something, eat it. If you want to binge eat, do it. Indulge a little without guilt. Because every so often it feels good to just give into cravings and nom nom nom!
Look for Beautiful Moments. When I was sitting on the bus the other day, there was an awfully smelly guy sat near me, and the bus was hot and humid and not all that pleasant. But then I noticed a little boy of about 3-years sat with his mother just down from me and he was kissing her and being affectionate and she was smiling so lovingly. It was a beautiful moment. When you are out and about, choose to see the world through enchanted eyes. Look for beautiful moments, for when you start paying attention you will notice them--and they are all around you!
Do Epic Shit! Get out into the world and live your amazing life the way you want, the way you choose, the way that makes you feel good! And do it unabashedly! You are so full of awesome it's limitless, so get out there and be awesome and do your thing! And enjoy every awesome second of it!
"A bad attitude can literally block love, blessings, and destiny from finding you. Don't be the reason you don't succeed." - Mandy Hale. Change your attitude and you'll change your life! Literally! :)

Get out there and create the best damn day ever! Every week, every day, every second is an opportunity to live your life to the fullest, so go do it! :)
Much love from me to you!

It's all about You! Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

Law of Attraction tip: Pay attention to how you're feeling. Your feelings tell you what's up in your life and are a good way to judge the sort of things you're manifesting and when it's time to switch gears. Your feelings are the universe communicating to you, to put it simply. The good feelings are letting you know you're on track. The bad feelings are to get your attention to let you know to stop focussing on the negative.
Keep Calm…  and go with the flow. Whenever we feel anxious, restless, stressed, or not so awesome, it's because we're resisting everything around us. So take a deep breath and bring yourself back to centre. Try not to let your mind run amuck over your day. It can be difficult sometimes, but practice makes perfect. Stay present, and keep calm. Everything will work out in the end.
Play Catchup! You know, on all that crap you've been procrastinating about. Go ahead, take a day and get things done! You'll feel better and those little voices will stop nagging you in the back of your mind of all those things that you were supposed to do but still haven't. ;)
Be Modest About Your Failures. We all make mistakes, we all fall, we all fail. It's a rather beautiful part of life that teaches us valuable lessons and propels us towards growth. Don't shy away as if you're the only person who ever failed. And don't linger in your failures, own them! Get back up, brush yourself off, and try try again!
Turn off notifications to your phone. We live in a world of cellphones, that's just the way it is these days. We see people glued to their phones at all times, even when in the company of friends and family. Turn off the damn phone. Turn off the notifications on your phone and put the damn thing away when you're out with people so it won't call to you temptingly. It's not cocaine, we just act like it is sometimes. ;p
Be Someone Who Makes You Happy! People always say to be with someone that makes you happy, but your happiness does not depend on other people, it depends only on you. If you can't be happy by yourself, you'll never be happy with another. Focus on making your own self happy. Happiness comes within. So spend day every day to focus on the person you want to be, and become the person who makes you happy.
"You don't always need a plan. Sometimes you just need to breathe, trust, let go, and see what happens." - Mandy Hale. This week, practise letting go. ;)

Don't forget to Create a Nice Day! To keep smiling, laughing, and spending time on joy!
Much love from me to you!

☺ Motivational Mondays! ☺

. . . . . . . . . .

We're taking back Mondays!!!

It's all about You! Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

Law of Attraction tip: The more you talk about something, the more you are inviting into your life. This can be used for good when we're conscious of it, bad if we choose to ignore it. If you are constantly talking about being sick, being depressed, not having money, etc. then you will invite more of that into your life. If you talk more about your joys then you will invite more joys into your life and healing and the world will be better. ;)
Be direct with people. This is all about learning to stick up for yourself and speaking up. While I generally promote saying yes to things, there is a balance so learn to fight the urge to say yes to everyone all the time. It’s okay to say no in a nice way. You’ll lose friends if you agree to do something and then just hope it fades away or they forget. Just be honest now and avoid the guilt later.
Be Spontaneous! Have you done anything spontaneous lately? Our friends visited last week and we went for a midnight swim in the lake--it was hella fun. Spontaneity is so fun, so go for it, say yes ;) and step out of your comfort zone this week.
Sleep in. Admittedly, I rarely sleep in. I'm usually perfect on 7 hours of sleep and I'm awake and ready to go. However, some weeks are draining (especially with hot weather, or cold weather, or rainy days, or work days, or…) so sleep helps restore our balance and puts our minds and bodies at much needed rest. Take a few nights this week and have a good long deep sleep in. Try to remove anything that might interrupt that sleep; loud noises (wear earplugs, alarms, pets, etc.). Don't sleep in every day though, you should be well rested but sleeping in too much can be just as draining as not getting enough sleep.
You are responsible for your own happiness. Yes yes, this one I say all the time, but it's absolutely true. You Choose your Happiness! Stop blaming everyone and everything else if you aren’t there yet. And don't get discouraged if you aren't there yet either; trying means progress, complaining means taking steps backwards. If you're not there yet, Fix it. No one owes you anything. And never compare your happiness to someone else's, we're all at different stages and you never know what's going on beneath the surface of another person's life.
Embrace your Passions! Life is too short not to take time every day (or as often as possible for you) to obsess over your passions. Make it work, rearrange your schedule or habits so that you have that time for yourself and your joys. Take time for your passions and let them be the beat of your heart.
"If you look out over an ocean, you will see a seemingly infinite number of waves rippling across the horizon. If you were to visit the ocean floor, however, you would experience a vast, uninterrupted stillness. By going beyond our thoughts, we access the underlying field of silence that lies within." - Eat. Taste. Heal.

Don't forget to Create a Nice Day! To keep smiling, laughing, and spending time on joy!
Much love from me to you!
