☺ Motivational Mondays! ☺

. . . . . . . . . .

We're taking back Mondays!!!
"Motivational Mondays" are fabulous tips to get you excited and pumped for the week!
Feeling low? Moody? Down on life? Well, that's what these posts are for! Time to feel awesome again and get some Positivity rolling! Just because it's Monday doesn't mean you can't have fun, smile, and enjoy Today! Apply these tips to your week and try to tell me that you don't start to see an improvement in your life! ;)
It's all about You! Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

☺ Law of Attraction tip: Don't pay so much attention on the negative thoughts. Negative thoughts will come, no matter how positive you try to keep yourself. Your job is not to stop the negative thoughts, your job is to fill your head with as many positive thoughts as you can to counter-act the negative ones. The more positively you can think the more the negative thoughts (and therefore experiences) will slip away on their own.
☺ Get Outside for 30 minutes a Day! I know, I know, it's getting colder, and maybe it's like where I live where the rain has been pretty socked in. Still try to get outside for at least 30 minutes a day, even if it means sitting in the cover somewhere. If you can, try to ground your feet to the earth as well, but at least try to get outside, it'll do your mind wonders!
☺ Stop Feeling Guilty! Stop feeling badly or guilty for the things that you want to do. I have to say it is one of the worst underlying stresses in life when there is someone constantly making you feel badly for just being you. And I think this problem usually stems from insecurity of not wanting the other person to do things without them. Talk to whoever might be making you feel this way, stick up for yourself, and no more feeling guilty. Do things for You, without the guilt, because that guilt will weigh you down in the form of heavy accumulating stress and resentment.
☺ Stop Feeling Insecure! While we're on the topic, stop feeling insecure as well! I know it's not as easy as snapping your fingers and magically all your insecurities are gone, but Try. Stop constantly feeling like everything your boyfriend/girlfriend/significant other is doing is because they aren't interested in you--because in the majority of cases, that's not at all what's going on (it's not always about you ;) ). Start loving and appreciating yourself and others will too, and the insecurities will start to diminish.
☺ Do Something for your Health. This week, I want you to do something new for your health! Whether that means cutting out sugar or some other bad foods; cutting back on meat; quitting dairy; balancing out your omega ratios; drinking more water; or any other number of things. There is so much that we can do for our health, so start taking care of your body--it will also take care of your mind!
☺ Always Believe Something Wonderful is about to Happen! Life can be mundane, life can be tough, life can be just plain tricky some days. But, it's always magical, and there are always amazing things just waiting for us to notice. So, enter each day believing something wonderful is about to happen. I've started this new thing with my husband, whenever he comes home from work, instead of asking the routine question of how his day was, I ask him what magical thing happened today. Try this with someone you know, because it'll have you both looking for something magical in each day!
☺ "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." ~ Dr. Seuss. This is still one of my favourite quotes, because it is the perfect reminder to be yourself; because those who matter will love you for You! And that's the way it should be. So, stop caring what people think, stop feeling guilty for being you (yes I just came back to that one), and unabashedly be Who You Are, and love every quirky wonderful second of it! ^_^

Get out there and look for the magic, practice these points every day this week, and go and create a super duper fantastic day!
Much love from me to you!

It's all about You! Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

☺ Law of Attraction tip: Always start and end your day with conscientious practices. In the morning, take a minute just to give thanks for everything in your day in advance, all the things you want to happen that day, give thanks as if they have already happened; announce that you are going to have an awesome day, nay, Choosing to have a kick-ass day; and be sure to add a little "I am grateful for the good news I am receiving today"--works wonders! At the end of your day, take a minute before your head hits the pillow to list off all the things you were grateful for that day. Five minutes of your day will completely transform your entire life, so don't slack on these practices!
☺ Get Inspired by Random Acts of Kindness! Check out these 18 random acts of kindness (click) to feel all warm and fuzzy inside, to get inspired, and to get out there and perform your own acts of kindness! Remember, you should try to do one act a day! :)
☺ Respect Yourself! I think it's so easy to not respect your own sanity, wishes, and basic and deep emotional needs. We disregard them to please others all too frequently. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to help others out and to please others, but it should never be at a sacrifice to your own well-being. Learn when to say yes and when to say no--and stop feeling badly for sticking up for yourself when you do need to say no!
☺ Make the most of Fall! It's officially fall, summer is officially over. Boo. Well, it's time to make the most of fall! Try to get outside every say the sun is shining. If it's raining, go and dance in the rain. Play in the leaves. Get outside as much as possible, and find new fun things to do. And enjoy cozy days in as well. Remember, weather is circumstantial, it's your attitude that will determine whether or not you're going to have a good time. So choose to have a good time!
☺ Do Something Spontaneous… And totally out of character! Why? Because you need to learn to stop taking yourself so seriously! ;) Have a little fun, be a little silly, and stop caring what others think! Bust out dance moves in the supermarket; give a stranger a high-five; sing at the top of your lungs… you know, cliche silly things ;) or anything else really silly and random. Just do it!
☺ Believe in Magic! You create your life! You, you, you! What you believe in will manifest into your life. If you spend all your time believing that life sucks and is mean to you, then you are going to have a pretty not-so-great life. If you believe that life is fantastic and that magical things happen every single day all over the world, then your life is going to be something pretty epic! So choose to believe in magic!
☺ "Your mind can be a place of torment—a hellish hall of horrible images that rack your emotions, quicken your heart rate, and keep you up while others doze. You create your own misery all the while lusting for a moment’s peace. Your circumstances are no worse than anyone else’s, but you magnify them to mountain size because you dwell on them so intensely." ~ Metal Motivation.

Hope you're making the most of these first few days of fall! Now get out there and create a damn good day! ^_^
Much love from me to you!

Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

☺ Law of Attraction tip: Remember that the Law of Attraction can so easily spiral in either the good or bad direction. When things feel great and abundance is flowing, it's easy for it to spiral and keep coming. But when you are lacking then it's very easy for things to continue to be in a state of lack. The challenge is to shift your attitude, your energy. Feeling Good is key. Once you start to Feel Good then you will experience an abundance in all aspects of your life.
☺ Life is Not Unhappiness! The implication is that unhappiness is part of life, and we’re to make the best of it and learn from it, while happiness comes from outside: from sensual enjoyments, possessions, other people, or God. But Happiness comes from within and is achievable for absolutely anyone. Don't settle with unhappiness, don't just accept that it has to be a part of your life. Life is booming with so many wonderful things, and it all starts with you, your attitude, and your Choosing to be Happy! Life is not suffering, only our minds make it so!
☺ Take a Breather! And take a moment to unwind this week. Run yourself a nice warm bath with candles and some soft music. Leave the book and the smartphone, and anything else away. Just take a moment to breathe, to be still with your mind, and to just relax.
☺ Life is Right Now! Stop procrastinating, stop not trying your hardest or doing your best, or pushing for your dreams. Life is right now, the time is right now. Stop placing things in the distant future. Play like you Practice! Do your best, try your hardest, because time can slip by so quickly and you don't want to miss the opportunities that come from actually putting yourself out there and just going for it!
☺ Stop comparing your life to others. Your life has nothing to do with theirs. You are not them, You are You! And you while you may imagine their world to be perfect, remember that it never is. Everyone has ups and downs and struggles and can paint on a smile. Stop comparing yourself and your life to others. Find your own happiness!
☺ Fill in this Space. Life is learning, experiencing, and doing things for yourself. You have so much that you've learned that you may forget or push to the back of your mind. Draw it back out and create your own tip to follow for the week! Take a leap, be your own voice of empowerment driving you forwards!
☺ "If it can be fixed; why worry? If it can’t be fixed, what’s the point of worrying?" ~ Shantideva. Don't Worry! The Buddhist rule re Worrying is simple: don’t. As displayed below… ;)

Get out there and create the best damn day ever! Every week, every day, every second is an opportunity to live your life to the fullest, so go do it! :)
Much love from me to you!

{life reflections}

. . . . . . . . . .
{life reflections}
Weekly thoughts and rambles. A glimpse into my mind and world.
These are entries that I might jot down in my Happy Diary; what happens when we put our fingers to the keyboard and allow our thoughts to flow uninhibited. Reflections from the soul.
Reflections of life.

I hope to leave you inspired.
If you want to share your own reflections of the week please leave a link to your "life reflections" entry in the comments for all to find and see.
. . . . . . . . . .

Today I feel good. Life feels pretty fantastic. My tummy has been up and down though, so I've been trying to do a process of elimination to figure out what I've been eating that's affecting it. It's hard to figure out sometimes, but when you know how good you can feel you strive to get back to that. Anyway, that's about my only complaint right now, otherwise I've been feeling pretty blissful.
I feel as if I've found a good balance between work and play. I'm finally feeling good about money again and, low and behold, it's flowing ever so fluently at the moment. Which brings me to today's mention of the Law of Attraction. When it works, it really works! When you feel good about something and secure about something and abundance is rolling in, it's easy to attract more. Likewise, it's also really easy to spiral at the first sign of doubt. I think that's why we experience so many wide ups and downs in life and in varying aspects of our lives. But it's important to remember and try to get a grasp of the Law of Attraction, because it really does spiral very easily either direction--either with abundance or with loss. Gratitude helps a lot, but more than that, feeling good in general is the most important part. When you start to feel good--just overall happy, blissful, satisfied--then that's when everything else starts to flow more fluently. Piece of cake right? Sometimes. Other times, I think we all know how hard it can be to stay on track and to not get down. But there's always a light at the end of the tunnel and things work out in the end. So what's to complain about? Maybe there are things, maybe life is pretty easy for you, but either way, there are always always always things to be grateful for and ways of seeing the positive. Even if it takes a little more effort, feeling Good if achievable. Anyways, that's my spiel on the Law of Attraction today, because it never ceases to blow my mind. Like magic!
Tralala.
I have been busiest writing and drawing and being a little introverted geek. Putting out this book is exciting to me, just putting out this creative project in general is exciting to me. It's really not like anything else I do. In case this is the first time you're hearing about it, this book is a fantasy, anime/manga-inspired, tale that I've titled "Everwake." The story is dark and twisted and whimsica,l and full of emotions, in-depth characters, and all sorts of other fun things that make a story exciting. I used to write stories all the time in my teenage years but that sadly stopped at the end of high school because I felt it was too "geeky"… ah the fun (not) of not being yourself at that age. Regardless, I started writing again a couple years ago, and drawing (obviously) which brought this story about. I'm already on Book 3! I can't even believe it. The ideas and story have just been flowing so smoothly and easily. I've also been doing a drawing every day to keep inspired and perfect my sketching. I can't wait to get my Cintiq (wacom tablet that will allow me to draw out more professional final artwork), so that I can start releasing more artwork for the book. I haven't decided exactly how I'm publishing, but I do know there will be lots of artwork and even some comic bits to toss along with the book. I just can't not place art with it. If I felt that I could then I would do the entire thing as a manga comic book, but I do love the writing aspect, the novel aspect, of the story, so I think combining the two will be something new and fun. So, yes, that's been taking up a lot of my time and I'm loving every second of it.
(You can check out the progress of that on my deviantart (click) since I won't be plaguing this page with too much news on that).

What else is new?
Summer is winding down but the fun certainly hasn't stopped, and neither has the sunshine. We've had some crazy rain and thunderstorms, but then the sun comes back out and we can play and hike and swim and camp and enjoy the summer life. I may say this a lot, but I feel so blessed to live where I do. I look out my front windows and I'm staring out at epic mountains, a sparkling lake, and ospreys that soar above the treeline, occasionally swooping down to catch a fish or fly away from (or gang up on) the eagle that also lives around here. Nature is supreme, it's hard not to breathe it all in and be grateful to be where I am. Moving away from the concrete jungle that was Edmonton was the best decision I ever made. And, it's funny, because I never thought I could live in a small town again; too small, not enough to do, not enough opportunities, blah blah blah. Excuses. I can't stand big cities anymore. They're overwhelming whenever I have to spend too much time in them. Fun to visit sometimes, but not to live. All the things I thought I would be missing I didn't, and even if I did, those things fail in comparison to what I get living where I do.
So, yeah, life is good. ;) And I've finally gotten around to writing another of these posts, it's been a while!

Hope you are all smiling and singing and dancing, and being yourselves, and making the most of your day and week and life! I'm off for a saturday morning breakfast with my two siblings.
Create a Nice Day!
Much Love!

Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

☺ Law of Attraction tip: It is so important for you to be Grateful for everything that you have in your life. Without first being grateful for what you already have, there is no way to invite more good things to you to be grateful for. Attracting good into your life absolutely starts with being thankful and appreciating what you already have, from the tiny little details to the amazingly large. Be grateful for waking up in the morning, be grateful for every penny to your name, be grateful for the health you have, for the roof over your head, for your food, for everything!
☺ Re-Apply Past Lessons.  It's so easy to read something once, feel like you've got it all figured out and then forget the lesson entirely within a matter of days, weeks, or months. Go back and re-read one of my articles about how to be happy! ^_^ Yes, this is your task for the week. Happiness requires rewiring that brain, so don't get lazy! Re-read, re-learn, and surround yourself with positive and inspiring words! At ReLove there are so many inspirational articles I've written--go take another look and relearn something new.
☺ Don't Complicate Things! We are absolutely terrible at creating problems that don't exist, or dwelling on things that don't matter. Stop it! Learn to let things go, to enjoy the moment, and to stop seeking out drama. Of course, there are times and situations in life where problems need addressing and working through, but try to be conscious about which ones matter and which ones are coming from insecurities with yourself and/or looking for drama--don't self-sabotage your happiness!
☺ Enjoy the Natural World! Nature is bliss, nature is life, nature is all that is good! Get outside and enjoy it as much as possible. Go for a walk, go on an epic hike. Climb a tree, swim in the lakes and oceans. Go to the far reaches of nature that you have not yet explored. Breathe nature into your lungs and feel and love all that it has to offer.
☺ Let your dreams change. Maybe you have this one career or idea in mind of what you wanted your life to be, and you've struggled through it, miserably, resenting everything about it, but you stick through it, all in the hopes that this imagined end goal will be the answer to your happiness… well, that isn't living and that goal isn't going to magically bring you happiness. Life slips by quickly when you sacrifice your current happiness for imagined future happiness for an extended amount of time. People tell you to do what you love. That’s not an expression, it’s a philosophy. Switch your dreams to something that makes you happy right now, not hopefully happy later.
☺ Be a Fully Expressed Being at Every Moment. You are so dynamic and so lovely and have so much to offer the world. Never let people or things overshadow your greatness. Be the best version of yourself, the Fullest version of yourself, in every moment.
☺ "It takes a lot of courage to go out there and radiate your essence."
Get out there and create the best damn day ever! Every week, every day, every second is an opportunity to live your life to the fullest, so go do it! :)
Much love from me to you!

. . . . . . . . . .

Hey! Sorry Loves, I've been camping over the long weekend and am rather exhausted ;p Soooo, this Motivational Monday we're going to do something a little different…
Below are your set of rules for the week. So, it is your job to apply them as much as possible. Make them your desktop photo, or your phone's background image, or plaster them somewhere in your room, basically anywhere that you will see and read them often this week. That's your homework. And then next Monday I would love to hear how your week went by applying these rules! Come back and leave a comment on this post. :)
Happy Happy Monday!!

☺ Motivational Mondays! ☺

. . . . . . . . . .

We're taking back Mondays!!!

It's all about You! Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

☺ Law of Attraction tip: Remember that what you talk about most is what you are attracting. So, while it's nice to vent and talk about our problems to work through them, we must be careful that our focus isn't more consistently on the problem instead of the solution. Our worst habit is still talking too much about our problems instead of the joys in our lives, so watch your speech and switch it onto something positive.
☺ Practice Self-Gratitude!  Almost nothing diminishes our sense of worth more than our own selves. It's an easy mentality to fall into since we tend to take things too harshly, listen to others criticisms too much, and degrade ourselves by comparing ourselves to others. These are all bad habits that need reversing, but most importantly, you need to spend time on your Self. Every single day, without fail, without slacking, take time to write a love letter to yourself. Remind yourself that you are an awesome person, of all the qualities you like about yourself, and generally just focus on how kick-ass you are! Because you are! ^_^
☺ Put the Damn Phone Down! Our addiction to our smartphones is getting to the point of ridiculousness. I mean, really ridiculousness. I'm not saying I'm not guilty of busting out my phone and taking photos of everything (although, to be fair, I did this when I just had a camera before I had my phone), but moderation I think is key here. Technology can be a wonderful thing, but let's not become brainwashed zombies who can't do anything but turn to our phones every few minutes. Try leaving it far away when you can, and turn it onto silence when you're out with friends.
☺ You are What You Eat! Remember last motivational monday when I told you to indulge? Well, I hope you're done because now it's time to eat super duper clean and good! Our food directly affects our mentalities and we too often overlook this. You absolutely are what you eat, so eat food that fuels you, that takes care of your body and your soul.
☺ Go for a walk. Take a route you don’t normally take. Explore. Just enjoy walking, saying thank you with every step, and breathing in some fresh air. Walking clears our minds and makes us feel good. So try going for a walk every day this week.
☺ Focus on the Positive! The most cliche of all advice and the one I will repeat over and over again. ;) Focus on your joy, instead of on your pain. Meaning, no whining, complaining, or frowning; instead learn to smile and focus on what makes you feel good!
☺ "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." - Eleanor Roosevelt. Follow your dreams and follow your heart. Your dreams may change and that's okay, but always put your heart into it and the world becomes a more beautiful place.

Get out there and create the best damn day ever! Every week, every day, every second is an opportunity to live your life to the fullest, so go do it! :)
Much love from me to you!

Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

☺ Law of Attraction tip: Thoughts Become Things. Thoughts Become Things. Thoughts Become Things. Pay attention to what you're thinking about; is it positive or is it negative? What do you want to attract? Positive or Negative? Thoughts Become Things!
☺ Take Care of Yourself!  If you know something is affecting your health (both body and mind) negatively then take action immediately to remedy it. Don't stay static, do something about it and make a change. If you don't try then you'll never move forward.
☺ Remember to Practice Random Acts of Kindness. It's the little things that can make a huge impact on someone's day, so do your part to make the world a little brighter. If you see an opportunity to help someone, take it. If you think of something sweet to do for someone, do it. Try to do a few acts of kindness where no one else knows you're doing them as well, that way it becomes more selfless--although it will make your soul feel good too!
☺ Indulge! Because next week I'm going to tell you to purge. ;) If you want to eat something, eat it. If you want to binge eat, do it. Indulge a little without guilt. Because every so often it feels good to just give into cravings and nom nom nom!
☺ Look for Beautiful Moments. When I was sitting on the bus the other day, there was an awfully smelly guy sat near me, and the bus was hot and humid and not all that pleasant. But then I noticed a little boy of about 3-years sat with his mother just down from me and he was kissing her and being affectionate and she was smiling so lovingly. It was a beautiful moment. When you are out and about, choose to see the world through enchanted eyes. Look for beautiful moments, for when you start paying attention you will notice them--and they are all around you!
☺ Do Epic Shit! Get out into the world and live your amazing life the way you want, the way you choose, the way that makes you feel good! And do it unabashedly! You are so full of awesome it's limitless, so get out there and be awesome and do your thing! And enjoy every awesome second of it!
☺ "A bad attitude can literally block love, blessings, and destiny from finding you. Don't be the reason you don't succeed." - Mandy Hale. Change your attitude and you'll change your life! Literally! :)

Get out there and create the best damn day ever! Every week, every day, every second is an opportunity to live your life to the fullest, so go do it! :)
Much love from me to you!

{life reflections}

. . . . . . . . . .
{life reflections}

If you want to share your own reflections of the week please leave a link to your "life reflections" entry in the comments for all to find and see.
. . . . . . . . . .

I feel as if I've been talking a lot lately about the roller coaster of life; the ups and downs that can feel so extreme and so sporadic, as if the little gentle stream of life has now turned into a gushing tumbling river, plunging under and popping us high high back to the top. Maybe there's something in the air, it just seems like a lot of people I know, and myself included, have been experiencing much higher turbulence than usual. I would also like to think this has something to do with the shift of awakening within so many of us--so many people "waking up." It is a double-sided blessing: when we work on ourselves we allow ourselves to experience and draw out issues and problems that may have been rather deeply buried, therefore things may feel worse before they get better because we need to work through those issues before we can move forwards to the space of walking on rainbows while it sprinkles gumdrops.
Ah life. It truly truly truly is a beautiful thing, it's just such a shame that we've been conditioned to believe that life is suffering, that life is hard work, that life sucks. Think about how many brain patterns we have formed during our upbringing to make us feel badly about ourselves, to make us feel that life is no fun, to make us believe that materialism and money are the only forms of happiness, to make us believe that our happiness depends on things outside of ourselves, and to make us believe that happiness is a farfetched myth that we could never achieve.
When things get tough I think it's important to reflect on how far you've come. See, sometimes it may feel as if we haven't changed, as if we haven't gotten any happier in our lives, but this is when it's good to look back at where you were when you started. For me, I used to cut, I had plenty of suicidal thoughts, and being sad was just a daily part of my life. If I look at my life now, even when I have bad days, or moments of frustration where I don't feel as if I've gotten anywhere, it's pretty easy to see that I have. I no longer cut, I am no longer "depressed," I just have moments of relapse and real human emotions. Feeling bad, sad, down, frustrated, and so forth, aren't signs that you haven't gotten anywhere or that you're not, at the core of you, happy, it's just a reminder that we are all still human and we all still feel. Feeling is great, it's just our attachment to not letting go of negative emotions that is a problem. That, and that our minds tend to over-think things and create problems that aren't even there. We are all human, we are allowed to feel, we should feel. Ups and downs are a part of life, our holding onto the ups and downs are the part that we need to adjust so that the flow of life is much smoother and enjoyable. Let emotions flow and then let them go.
Whenever in doubt, just think about how far you've come. Remind yourself that you're human and that life will always have ups and downs. Learn to enjoy the ride. Make the most of every situation and of ever circumstance or opportunity. Try to think positive, try to work on yourself. And don't beat yourself up along the way. Just do your best! And remember to smile. ;)
I want to talk about two things this week in greater depths: the emotional guidance system; and first steps to working through depression. Two topics that I've been thinking a lot about lately that I have a lot I'd like to say and share.
Our life experiences are gifts that we can share with others and that goodness has the domino effect of spreading to others. It's truly a wonderful thing. If you've learned something about life that makes things easier than share it with friends and family or a stranger. Spread the goodness because if it works for them then they too will pass on that knowledge to those around them. If people don't take your advice then at least you tried, no harm done.
Keep smiling, trying, and loving life. And remember; JUST DO YOUR BEST!
^_^ Much Love!

Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

☺ Always end your day with a Positive Thought. No matter how bad your day may have been, tomorrow is a brand new opportunity to make it better. But if you go to bed in a bad mood you are likely to wake up in the same bad mood. Take a few minutes every day before bed to think about all the things you're grateful for, all the things you love, and all the things you're grateful for tomorrow (even if it hasn't happened yet). Think Positive!
☺ Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck. Everything happens for a reason and although sometimes we feel sad about not getting what we want, there is indeed a reason for it. This reason isn't usually easy to accept or to see at the time, but try to remember that the Universe it just looking out for you. The right things will come into your life at the right time. Have faith.
☺ Enjoy Time Alone. One of our biggest human downfalls is our inability to not only spend time alone but enjoy it. Most of us feel uncomfortable alone, because it is almost taught in our society. That, and it leaves us alone with our own thoughts and feelings and most of us would rather never face such things and live our lives suffering than to face those problems and move forward from them. Being alone should never make you feel uncomfortable, just as sitting by yourself in silence should never make you feel uncomfortable. Time alone is incredibly good for the soul, for healing, for moving forwards. Spending time is an incredible gift, so learn to enjoy and embrace it.
☺ Not all Attention is Good Attention. Most of us are insecure, it's just one of those things in life that we've grown up to feel. Working on insecurities is important. Realizing the negatives we welcome in our lives as a result of those insecurities is part of that importance. Attention is one of those. Not all attention is good attention and you should learn the difference so that you can move forwards instead of backwards when it comes to feeling good about yourself. Everyone likes to be complimented; compliments are nice. Needing compliments to feel good is bad. Likewise, not all attention from the opposite sex is good attention. For instance, degrading comments should never be welcome, even if in your head it gives you a confidence boost. This is such a deep topic that I will be writing a more detailed post this week. But this week try to become aware of Needing attention, Negative attention, and genuine loving compliments.
☺ Sing…just for the joy of it! Even if you think you can’t sing, do it anyway. Free your voice, have fun, and sing sing sing! Not only is singing fun, but it also teaches you to laugh at yourself, not take yourself and life so seriously, to be free, and it is a good way to help heal your soul. ;)
☺ Don't take on the Weight of the World.  It can be difficult when we want to help people, because we usually can't dis-attach ourselves from their problems. We usually end up taking on the weight of another person's problems as if it is our own burden to fix for them. You are never responsible for someone else's happiness or sadness, so never take that on. Do what you can to help others but don't allow your world to fall apart and don't carry their weight. You have enough in your own life to work on without carrying someone else's. And the best thing you can do for another is to be strong and happy with your own life so that you are not only capable of helping them, but can also be an inspiration and a positive force in their lives.
☺  "The key to happiness is letting each situation be what it is instead of what you think it should be." ~Mandy Hale. Stress happens when the mind resists what is. When you learn to stop resisting what Is, then you'll stop resisting life itself. Accept things as they are and go with the flow.

Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

☺ Law of Attraction tip: When you think to yourself "I don't have enough" then you will continually attract that reality into your life and you will never have enough of whatever it is you feel that way about. When you focus your thoughts on 'lack of' you block abundance from coming to you. Shift your mind onto thinking you have an abundance, even if you don't. Emit those thoughts and they will magnetically attract more than enough of everything to you.
☺ Tackle Procrastination! I am the worst procrastinator The worst! I swear it runs in my family or something… anyways, it feels pretty awesome when you do finally tackle something you've been avoiding or keep forgetting about, so instead of putting things off any longer go ahead and tackle all those procrastinations this week! Go productivity! You'll feel better without it weighing in the back of your mind anymore too!
☺ Look for the positive in your daily experiences.  I am always astounded at how many people seem to look for things to complain about with even the most positive of things. Stop looking for the negative. If that's where you mind is going then retrain that brain! Catch yourself and see the positive instead. It will change your life!
☺ Give something up for the week! I love this practice because it teaches self-control which is something many of us struggle with, especially when it comes to bad habits or food. So, whether you choose a food (meat, dairy, sugar, junk food, coffee, alcohol etc.), video games, makeup, cigarettes, TV, or anything at all, try giving up something for the week that you think you need (but don't!). Who knows, this may be the beginning of kicking some bad habits too!
☺ When you lose, don’t lose the lesson.  Life holds so many very dear and valuable lessons. When we fall that is when the biggest lessons are usually presented for us. This is why losing is a tremendous gift, it's just not always easy to see that in the heat of the moment. Always take a step back and remember to keep the lesson, don't lose yourself to self-defeat.
☺ Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes we hate to hear this little mantra, but it's absolutely true--so long as you stay positive and keep faith. The second you dwell on negative self-defeating thoughts and emotions then you place yourself in a position of stalemate with life in which you can't move forwards. Life brings to us what we need, even if we don't like it in that moment, but it is absolutely up to us to see that and have faith in that. Have faith and don't stay in stalemate.
☺ Learn new words. Keep your mind fresh and full of new information and learn new words every day! Exercise that brain! How often do we hear or read a word and don't actually know what it means and instead of looking it up we simply accept that we don't know it (or pretend we do)? Stop! Admit ignorance (for no one knows all words!) and look up the word or ask. Learning is fun, and exercising your brain increases mental alertness and response. Plus, who doesn't want to know more words? ;)
☺  "In my life, I've had thousands of failures, hundreds of wrong decisions, and countless stupid mistakes. But if given the chance to change it?! I'd rather not...Because somehow, my past made me what I am right now. Not hard as a diamond, but strong enough to win my fight." ~Justice Cabral.

{life reflections}

. . . . . . . . . .
{life reflections}

If you want to share your own reflections of the week please leave a link to your "life reflections" entry in the comments for all to find and see.
. . . . . . . . . .

It's been a very very busy couple weeks! I always feel like I'm ahead with work when it comes to markets, that I have lots of time. And then I blink. And the market season is here. So I've been rushing around getting ready… and feeling rather overwhelmed. Stress seems to come in spurts for me, almost always to do with work one way or another; deadlines or money. They are difficult issues to work around and feel good about sometimes, but they are things I practice more and more, especially when you know how the Law of Attraction works and how if you feel as if you don't have enough time or enough money then you won't. So I've been telling myself every day; there is no need to stress; I have more than enough money, I have more than enough time, everything will get done and everything will be fine. It's true. Things always have a way of working out, so I need to keep that in mind during those times when I feel overwhelmed. Ironically, I stumbled upon one of my older posts about "learning to not get overwhelmed." How appropriate. Thank you Universe.
Well, I'm off to actually take a day off and relax and lay in the sunshine for a while. Today is mine and Cory's 9 year anniversary. Nine years! That's crazy! So I'm going to spend the day with him and then later today is my bestie's birthday party so should be a super awesome day--and a nice relief from the chaos of my current mind. It's a dress-up party too, how fun is that?!

Hope you're all having a lovely day and enjoying life and remember to smile even when you feel stressed or down. Oh the power of a smile or a laugh. Mood transforming! :)

Love you all! Sending you happy positive energy and a skip to your step!

☺ Motivational Mondays! ☺

. . . . . . . . . .

We're taking back Mondays!!!
"Motivational Mondays" are fabulous tips to get you excited and pumped for the week!

Just because it's Monday doesn't mean you can't have fun, smile, and enjoy Today! Apply these tips to your week and try to tell me that you don't start to see an improvement in your life! ;)
It's all about You! Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

. . . . . . . . . .

☺ Thoughts are Things: Thoughts have a frequency, they are real energy, and they have Power. Make sure the thoughts you are emitting are positive!
☺ Jealousy is an ugly look on anyone. Learn to be happy for other people's triumphs instead of turning to negative jealous or envy. It's a terrible thing to down play another's successes simply because it is not you in their place. Just be happy for them. And be the best that you can be instead of acting upon or feeling jealousy or envy. Success will come your way if you can learn to be praise another's success instead of becoming jealous--remember there is enough for everyone.
☺ Make someone Happy Today! There is nothing that fills the heart more than the ability to brighten someone's day and to make them smile. Go out of your way this week, every day, to put a smile on another's face. :)
☺ Things always have a way of working out.  So never underestimate the power of faith, positivity, and good thoughts. Look back on any difficult or stressful moments in your life and look at them now; chances are they've been resolved and long forgotten; and if they haven't chances are that they are leading to something amazing. So have faith and stay positive and resolve will come to you faster.
☺ Follow your Passions! Follow your passions, your dreams, and the things you enjoy, and then the right opportunities will come to you. If you don't know what you want to do in life for work, then start with your passions. Don't tell yourself that your passions cannot become your life, there are endless possibilities and when you become true to your heart then those opportunities will present themselves and you will live the life of your dreams.
☺ Become a Team Player! While this particularly applies to your relationship with your significant other, it can be applied to any relationship… Be a team player! Instead of fighting, getting on each other's nerves, and constantly pitting yourselves against one another, learn to compromise, to talk things out, to find resolve, and to overall be on each other's side. Your relationships will become much more harmonized, respectful, and happy when you do this.
☺ "It is Your task to nurture your soul with kindness, love, respect, tolerance, forgiveness, and confidence. For a balance and hearty meal of awesomeness creates a life of happiness." ~ Dodinsky.
