☺ Motivational Mondays! ☺

We're taking back Mondays!!!
"Motivational Mondays" are fabulous tips to get you excited and pumped for the week!
Feeling low? Moody? Down on life? Well, that's what these posts are for! Time to feel awesome again and get some Positivity rolling! Just because it's Monday doesn't mean you can't have fun, smile, and enjoy Today! Apply these tips to your week and try to tell me that you don't start to see an improvement in your life! ;)
It's all about You! Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

Today we are going to talk all about ATTITUDES!!! ~_^

Beauty is up to You! You create beauty in the world around you, affect the things around you, and transform your life, all with your attitude, your behaviour, and your actions. These are things that you have control over, and you must become conscious of so that you can make your world beautiful. Choose a positive attitude, behave kindly, act positively. The kind of life you want is all up to you! :)
Have Love and Respect for Others! I know it's not always easy, but being kind towards others, no matter how nasty a person can be, is always the best answer. These people have lost themselves and are lashing out because of this loss of self and love. They tend to end up looking for a fight, any kind of confrontation so that they can lash out. Don't give that to them, instead show them kindness. People will not get any better if you greet confrontation with confrontation. You can't control how other people are going to act but you can always choose your own Attitude. Choose a compassionate one. That being said, there is a line to be drawn and you should never place yourself in a place where you are allowing yourself to be abused--which is where the next point comes in…
Brush away other's Negativities! It happens to the best of us; people decide to let out their rage and insecurities onto others, in the way of nasty comments, bashing, name calling, and so forth. I'm here to tell you not to take it personally and to seriously brush it off and think no more of it. I've had friends lately that have had to deal with people like this, and I, myself, ended up in such a situation. I am happy to say this person didn't affect my confidence or mood--except that it was a little annoying to have to block said-person everywhere. But don't take these people seriously. It's not you, it's Them. If they can't be happy themselves then they're just out to steal your happiness. Don't let them. People have a funny way of lashing out at others. Brush it off and continue being awesome! Know when enough is enough and to treat yourself with respect and the love you deserve.
PMA PMA PMA! "Positive Mental Attitude!" It'll get you everywhere! When life is rough, has it's bumps, and when unfavourable things happen, you can always turn to looking at things Positively. There is Always a positive side! Always always always. That's because there is always a lesson to be learned. Choose to learn the lesson and see life in a beautiful and positive light. I promise if you can adopt a Positive Mental Attitude your life will transform!
Choose Feeling, Not the Thoughts of Others! What matters more? What people think of you? Or how you Feel? Stop worrying so much about what others think, because I've got news for you; there will Always be people out there who don't like what you're doing! On the flip side, if you be yourself and be the person you want to be and stop caring what all those silly-heads (yes, I called them silly-heads) think about you, then you will realize how many people Love the Real you! And you'll realize how much more awesome you'll feel doing so! So stop caring what others think and just Be You!
Choose to be a Ray of Sunshine! Coming back to what I mentioned earlier; you can't control other people's attitudes, but you can always control your own. So if you can control your own then best start by being a Ray of Sunshine! Try being the most positive, happiest, most vibrant and joyful person you know. Play pretend if you must, play pretend until it starts to rub off on yourself and others. If you can focus on having a hella kick-ass Attitude then you Will have a hella kick-ass Attitude!
"The Happiest People don't have the Best of everything, they just Make the Best of everything. Happiness lies within your own attitude. Your attitude will truly change everything else around you. If you can learn to pay attention and focus positive traits into your attitude then you will make your life happy and vibrant. If you open up your attitude then you will open up your world and your mind, and your smiles! Remember; attitude attitude attitude! Transform your Attitude and Make the best of everything!

Hope you all have a fantastic super wonderful week! Focus on that Attitude and I know you will! :)
Much Love from me to you! And *HUUUUUGGGGG!!!*
Create a Nice Day! xo

Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

Law of Attraction Tip: We think negative thoughts sometimes, it's just the way we are, however negative thoughts can be reversed instead of attracting negative things into your life from those thoughts. Time serves you well for this reason. You can erase any previous negative thoughts by replacing them with new positive thoughts. You can change your frequency at any moment and start bringing good things to your life!
Get Excited! Get excited about today! About this moment right now! About Life! Think about how many times in a day someone will ask you "how are you?" Now how often do we automatically reply without much thought. Let this question be a trigger for you to stop and really think and, no matter what it is you might have been feeling before, start to feel excitement and happiness in that moment. You Should feel excited about life, no matter what is going on, so switch your mindset to excitement, the rest of your day and life will transform. So, How are you? ;)
Get Outside; take a Media Break! I mentioned last week how easy it is to withdraw in the winter and shut off from the fun of the outside world, so make yourself get back out there, rain, shine, or snow. If you have kids, get them outside too, it doesn't serve them to be glued to screens all day. And have fun with it! Fresh air and direct sunlight (even if it's behind the clouds) is good for you, and since media has the reverse effect, cut that out as much as possible. Don't become a zombie slob stuck in front of the TV or computer, get out there and LIVE!
Take on a fun Art Project! Okay, so while I encourage you to still take time to get outside, let's face it; most of your time is still going to be spent inside where it's warm. So, if you're going to be inside then make use of it--again instead of getting stuck before screens in the media world. Take on an art project! Something new and exciting for you to learn and have fun with it. Expand your mind and your creativity! Make better use of your inside time!
Talk about your Joys! Sometimes it feels good to vent, and it's good to talk about and through things. However, when most of what you are talking about is your problems and complaints then you are only going to keep attracting more things to complain about into your life. As humans, it's our biggest habit, and it's a negative one. If you want your life to be more joyful then spend more time talking about your joys instead. After all, when we actually take a moment there is an awful lot of joys.
Let it Go & Go with the Flow! Release attachment to thought and the Mind. If things are bumpy, if things aren't quite the way you want them, just let it go. Feeling down? Let it Go. Stuck in a line up? Let it Go. Someone getting on your nerves? Let it Go. We can learn a lot from letting go.
“You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.” ~ R. Buckminster Fuller. Just as equally important as letting things go, learn to go with the flow. Whatever comes your way, utilize it, don't resist life. Allow events and things to bend and flow, just go with it and let it go. When we can learn to go with the current you'll soon find a purpose for everything and life becomes a smooth joyful ride. So stop resisting things in life, work With things instead of Against them.

Hope you all had an amazing weekend and are ready to embrace a whole new week of fantastic fun!!!
Oh, and HOW ARE YOU? ;)
Much Love from me to you! And *HUUUUUGGGGG!!!*
Create a Nice Day! xo

Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

Law of Attraction tip: Visualize! Remember when you are working on manifesting things in your life to take the time to visualize the end result. This is a powerful practice because you place yourself at the point of already having it, imagining that it's already done, that it is already yours. You are visualizing and feeling what it is you're manifesting, and therefore, bringing yourself to a place of believing it right Now. And once you believe, you will receive.
Don't place limitations on yourself… it's all in your head. There is a difference between saying you can't do something/placing limitations on yourself, and knowing your own abilities and strengths and working With them instead of against them. You can choose to know yourself and work with things instead of against them. Don't make them limiting, make them your power, your strength, your courage, your brilliance, and shine!!
Take a Day Off! In case you missed it, I wrote up an article to convince you to actually take time off, so if you still need convincing, go read it. Now be sure to take at least one day, but preferably more days off this week!
Drink more tea! It's good for you! Especially to coffee drinkers, time to change some dirty habits and make the switch. Green tea or matcha tea is a great way to ditch the need for coffee, from there you'll get rid of the caffeine addiction and then drink all the lovely beneficial teas available instead of that turribly bad for you coffee. If you need coffee to get up in the morning, if you can't function without it, you're doing something seriously wrong.
Remember that you are never alone!  Sometimes it's easy to feel that you are, especially when life gets tough and the world feels like it's against you. But you are never alone. Ever. There is a big huge world of support out there, of people you can relate to, talk to, and be friends with. Thanks to the big internet world that has made things so much easier as well to actually get in touch with those people. So don't alienate yourself, open yourself up to all the possible people that could be in your life, whether it's right at home or across the world.
Take part in Meatleass Mondays! Hopefully you're already vegan or vegetarian, but if you're not then I don't think it's asking for much to sacrifice one day of the week to say no to meat (especially considering how many animals have sacrificed their lives to be on your dinner plate). You'll feel better. Promise. Vegetarians, this would be a good day for you to cut out other animal products instead. ;)
"She stood in the storm, and when the wind did not blow her way, she adjusted her sails." ~Elizabeth Edwards. This is one of the points I try to teach people the most; go with the flow! Whatever life brings you, be flexible, bendable, changeable, adjust and just go with it. The Universe knows what it's doing, have faith and trust to adjust your sails and let it guide you. The ride will be much smoother than going against the current.

Now go ahead and have the best damn week ever! Much Love from me to you!
Create a Nice Day! xo

Change your perception, change your attitude, love your life! xo

Law of Attraction Tip: Brush up on your Manifesting Skills! There are always new ways to learn to manifest better. Like making sure you are giving thanks every single day. By getting super Clear about what it is you are asking the Universe for. By making a list of all the things you want. By meditating on and/or visualizing the things you are manifesting. Sooo many things can help! And always remember the most important part is being on the frequency of receiving; meaning Feeling Good!
Go on an Adventure! Make a point of doing something memorable and fun this week. I don't care if it's the most epic trip or the smallest thing. You don't have to go away on a trip to have an adventure. If you're stuck where you are, use your imagination, get creative, grab a friend, and pretend you're somewhere completely different!
Don't Complain, Change! Oh the number of times I see people complain complain and then complain some more about their lives. All that complaining is what makes your life so shitty. You alone have the power to change your life, you alone are responsible for your life! So switch up the vibes, stop being a sourpuss, start smiling and being Nice and Loving, stop complaining and instead be grateful and you'll change your life. No questions, no maybes, your life Will change, guaranteed.
Go to the Farmer's Market! Support local and organic food! The farmer's markets will be thriving right now so take advantage of supporting your local community, the planet, good food and, therefor, good health!
Stop Procrastinating… and do it Now! Remember that the time is always Now, so no more putting things aside. If there's something you need to do, do it immediately. Don't let add on to your pile of things to do. And try to get through that list of things to do this week--don't feel pressured by it, be inspired and motivated for everything you get done and get to tick off your list.
Stick up For…  You! For Others! For everyone! I cannot tell you the number of times I see people shy away from sticking up for themselves or others. I always ask why why why? I'm not quite sure, maybe shyness, maybe insecurity, maybe fear. Whatever it is, get over it and stick up for yourself and others. Speak up and Stand up! And do it Now! You are powerful, you are mighty, you are fierce!
"Choose to align yourself with people who are like-minded in their search for simplified inspiration. Give those who find fault or who are confrontational a silent blessing and remove yourself from their energy as quickly as possible. Your life is simplified enormously when you don't have to defend yourself to anyone, and when you receive support rather than criticism." ~ Dr. Wayne Dyer.

Have a beautiful day, week, life! Much Love from me to you!
Create a Nice Day! xo

☺ 15 Things You Should Give Up To Be Happy! ☺

I've seen this floating around and decided that it is one of those articles that I needed to repost and share with all of you. All credit goes to the lovely Purpose Fairy for the beautiful words and inspiration. Amazing advice! :)

15 Things You Should Give Up To Be Happy

Here is a list of 15 things which, if you give up on them, will make your life a lot easier and much, much happier. We hold on to so many things that cause us a great deal of pain, stress and suffering – and instead of letting them all go, instead of allowing ourselves to be stress free and happy – we cling on to them. Not anymore. Starting today we will give up on all those things that no longer serve us, and we will embrace change. Ready? Here we go:

1. GIVE UP YOUR NEED TO ALWAYS BE RIGHT
There are so many of us who can’t stand the idea of being wrong – wanting to always be right – even at the risk of ending great relationships or causing a great deal of stress and pain, for us and for others. It’s just not worth it. Whenever you feel the ‘urgent’ need to jump into a fight over who is right and who is wrong, ask yourself this question: “Would I rather be right, or would I rather be kind?” Wayne Dyer. What difference will that make? Is your ego really that big?

2. GIVE UP YOUR NEED FOR CONTROL
Be willing to give up your need to always control everything that happens to you and around you – situations, events, people, etc. Whether they are loved ones, coworkers, or just strangers you meet on the street – just allow them to be. Allow everything and everyone to be just as they are and you will see how much better will that make you feel.

“By letting it go it all gets done. The world is won by those who let it go. But when you try and try. The world is beyond winning.” Lao Tzu

3. GIVE UP ON BLAME
Give up on your need to blame others for what you have or don’t have, for what you feel or don’t feel. Stop giving your powers away and start taking responsibility for your life.

4. GIVE UP YOUR SELF-DEFEATING SELF-TALK
Oh my. How many people are hurting themselves because of their negative, polluted and repetitive self-defeating mindset? Don’t believe everything that your mind is telling you – especially if it’s negative and self-defeating. You are better than that.

“The mind is a superb instrument if used rightly. Used wrongly, however, it becomes very destructive.” Eckhart Tolle

5. GIVE UP YOUR LIMITING BELIEFS
about what you can or cannot do, about what is possible or impossible. From now on, you are no longer going to allow your limiting beliefs to keep you stuck in the wrong place. Spread your wings and fly!

“A belief is not an idea held by the mind, it is an idea that holds the mind” Elly Roselle

6. GIVE UP COMPLAINING
Give up your constant need to complain about those many, many, maaany things – people, situations, events that make you unhappy, sad and depressed. Nobody can make you unhappy, no situation can make you sad or miserable unless you allow it to. It’s not the situation that triggers those feelings in you, but how you choose to look at it. Never underestimate the power of positive thinking.

7. GIVE UP THE LUXURY OF CRITICISM
Give up your need to criticize things, events or people that are different than you. We are all different, yet we are all the same. We all want to be happy, we all want to love and be loved and we all want to be understood. We all want something, and something is wished by us all.

8. GIVE UP YOUR NEED TO IMPRESS OTHERS
Stop trying so hard to be something that you’re not just to make others like you. It doesn’t work this way. The moment you stop trying so hard to be something that you’re not, the moment you take off all your masks, the moment you accept and embrace the real you, you will find people will be drawn to you, effortlessly.

9. GIVE UP YOUR RESISTANCE TO CHANGE
Change is good. Change will help you move from A to B. Change will help you make improvements in your life and also the lives of those around you. Follow your bliss, embrace change – don’t resist it.
“Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors for you where there were only walls” Joseph Campbell

10. GIVE UP LABELS
Stop labeling those things, people or events that you don’t understand as being weird or different and try opening your mind, little by little. Minds only work when open. “The highest form of ignorance is when you reject something you don’t know anything about.” Wayne Dyer

11. GIVE UP ON YOUR FEARS
Fear is just an illusion, it doesn’t exist – you created it. It’s all in your mind. Correct the inside and the outside will fall into place.
“The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself.” Franklin D. Roosevelt

12. GIVE UP YOUR EXCUSES
Send them packing and tell them they’re fired. You no longer need them. A lot of times we limit ourselves because of the many excuses we use. Instead of growing and working on improving ourselves and our lives, we get stuck, lying to ourselves, using all kind of excuses – excuses that 99.9% of the time are not even real.

13. GIVE UP THE PAST
I know, I know. It’s hard. Especially when the past looks so much better than the present and the future looks so frightening, but you have to take into consideration the fact that the present moment is all you have and all you will ever have. The past you are now longing for – the past that you are now dreaming about – was ignored by you when it was present. Stop deluding yourself. Be present in everything you do and enjoy life. After all life is a journey not a destination. Have a clear vision for the future, prepare yourself, but always be present in the now.

14. GIVE UP ATTACHMENT
This is a concept that, for most of us is so hard to grasp and I have to tell you that it was for me too, (it still is) but it’s not something impossible. You get better and better at with time and practice. The moment you detach yourself from all things, (and that doesn’t mean you give up your love for them – because love and attachment have nothing to do with one another,  attachment comes from a place of fear, while love… well, real love is pure, kind, and self less, where there is love there can’t be fear, and because of that, attachment and love cannot coexist) you become so peaceful, so tolerant, so kind, and so serene. You will get to a place where you will be able to understand all things without even trying. A state beyond words.

15. GIVE UP LIVING YOUR LIFE TO OTHER PEOPLE’S EXPECTATIONS
Way too many people are living a life that is not theirs to live. They live their lives according to what others think is best for them, they live their lives according to what their parents think is best for them, to what their friends, their enemies and their teachers, their government and the media think is best for them. They ignore their inner voice, that inner calling. They are so busy with pleasing everybody, with living up to other people’s expectations, that they lose control over their lives. They forget what makes them happy, what they want, what they need….and eventually they forget about themselves.  You have one life – this one right now – you must live it, own it, and especially don’t let other people’s opinions distract you from your path.

♥ New Artwork at ReLove Plan.et's etsy shop! Necklaces, cards, journals!♥

Just a quick post since I tend to forget to do these types of posts that share what's new and exciting in my shops. ;) Lots of new stuff at www.reloveplanet.etsy.com with more coming all the time :)
I just finished drawing, colouring, and creating these adorable cards printed on recycled mid weight paper :) I will have more coming with some "Birthday" themes. If there are any that you'd like to see be sure to leave a comment letting me know. Also, these cards are usually customizable for the text.

And brand new to the shop are three adorable blank journals with my original artwork on the cover. 100% recycled paper inside and the cover is recycled mid weight cardstock. I wanted to create these because I am always encouraging people to keep a "Happy Diary" so I thought these would be super cute for that, and to doodle in of course. :)

Lastly, I just finished another set of drawings that are all ready and are available in necklaces and magnets. :) Also, I have more shirt designs coming as soon as I get photos, but for now you'll have to be left in suspense ;)

☺ I am Responsible for My Own Happiness ☺

Happiness is a way of travel, not a destination.
Being happy starts with one simple step; a choice to be Happy. With that choice comes the responsibility to continue to be happy. No one else can give happiness to you or take it away from you. You are the decider, the chooser, the mind behind the feeling of contentment and the choice to smile. This is why there are optimists in the world, and why there are pessimists in the world. One has chosen to accept responsibility of their own happiness and chosen to Be happy. The other rejects this responsibility and blames the world, therefor will never truly feel unreasonable happiness.
Remember this: No one can make you feel badly without your consent. No situation can make you feel miserable without your allowing it to. Nothing in life can bring you down without your decision to allow it to. You are Responsible for your own Happiness. You are responsible for the choice to be happy, the choice to let things affect you, the choice to be who you want to be at all times. Likewise, nothing can make you feel happy without your consent, nothing can make you smile without your consent, nothing can make you feel good without your consent. You are the decider, the chooser, the source of your own happiness.
People often feel like they need certain things in their lives in order to be happy. Those thoughts are products of your own imagination and, at the end of the day, are just excuses or places to put the blame. Your Happiness is always dependent on you. You don't need a big house, a partner, material things, or anything else, all you need is You and you will always have You. Look at it this way; people usually go through plenty of relationships in their lives, whether it's a boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, friend, pet, family member, etc. The relationships change, people leave your life and new people enter your life, but your happiness is always there, left for you to pick up whenever you please. Your happiness is not dependent on these other people or possessions or things, they are dependent on You. If you need further proof of this, you need only look to the pessimist who has everything but does not appreciate or enjoy it, meanwhile the person who has nothing can be absolutely fulfilled with their lives. Because happiness is dependent on You.
The nice thing about happiness, though, is that when you are genuinely happy then more things for you to be happy about will enter your life. When you start relying on yourself for happiness, everything else seems to flow more smoothly and consistently with joy. Good things will come your way. Guaranteed.

This may be a lot to take in, but this responsibility will change your life. I've talked before about taking responsibility for your own life, taking responsibility for your own happiness is the next step in this. But this should not be daunting, it should be freeing and exciting. The fountain of your happiness is already inside of you, and it always has been. It is up to you to give it life and make it flow easily or cause it to dry up. Many of us have allowed the conditions of life and society to make that fountain dry up. But that's okay, all it needs is some maintenance to get it flowing again. And that's where you come in, because only You can make it flow freely again.
No one is responsible for your own Happiness but You. Until you can accept this, you will struggle with the ups and downs of life because you won't accept that only You are in charge of your happiness. You have control over your happiness! Think about how magnificent and freeing this truly is! Suddenly the world can open for you! You are allowed to feel Happy in the face of other people's bad attitudes. You are allowed to feel Happy when unfavourable experiences enter your life.
Of course, you'll learn tricks along the way to maintain that happiness and to be happy effortlessly in the face of anything. It is achievable, but you are the sole person responsible for achieving that. You are also responsible for the choices you need to take for happiness to flow easily. You are responsible for learning and growing and transforming into the highest, truest, Self you can be. You are responsible for surrounding yourself with positive people and situations. You are responsible for reading books, articles, or blogs that will help you to increase your depth of happiness. You are responsible for meditating, being in nature, listening to positive music, and anything else that will increase your depth of happiness. You are responsible for choosing to make the right steps towards the easy flow of your happiness.
Yes, there are people that will come into your life that are "mean" or situations that happen that are unfavourable, but do these things have to affect your happiness? Absolutely not. I'm not saying you should "grow a pair" and never feel emotion, it's very healthy to feel emotion (see this article on that) and you should absolutely be in touch with those emotions. What I'm saying is that you don't have to let those people or situations drag you down with them. You still get a choice at the end of each day, at the end of each Moment, to smile and be happy.
In stressful situations, it is up to you to say "try me!" instead of "why me?" and look for what the problem has come to teach you. It is your job to ask questions and see the lesson that will enrich your life. Surrender to the experience instead of resisting it. Even if you struggle, even if you fall down, you can always get back up and you can always Try, because that happy mood will always be there waiting for you again.

The responsibility of your happiness lies on your shoulders. You cannot place the blame anywhere else. If you're in a bad mood it's no one else's fault but your own. It's not the crappy waiter, your partner not listening to you, the bad news, or anything else. It's you! Because you get to choose your attitude at all times. All times! You don't have to let any of those pestering people or situations bring you down, you can still feel on top of the world! In fact, if you choose to still feel happiness in the face of those disgruntled events, then you will change the course of your life, regardless, into something positive, because you will be drawing more positive and happy things to you.
So take responsibility for your own happiness. Remember that no one else can give it to you or take it away from you. Get your ego out of the way, lose the blame game, and love others with all your heart. Love your life with all your heart. Love your life with all your heart. And watch the magic of happiness become your existence. Choose to Be Happy.

☺ Filling your Life with Unicorns! ☺

What we're really doing here is getting back to the basics of a four-year-old mindset. Why? Because the beauty of a child is the simple-mindedness, the light-heartedness, gratitude, easy fascination, eagerness, and endless perseverance. And everything in our lives should be as exciting as a room full of Unicorns.
We should keep our room (our lives) full of Unicorns (Positive, feel-good things-- Happiness!!!) at all times. Because that is all that really matters; the fun Happy things. We should appreciate and be grateful for all the Unicorns in all their various forms; some like to fly, some like to prance around; some are a bit prickly around the edges, others are fluffy and colourful; some are grumpy, others happy… you get the idea ;). These Unicorns represent all the things in our lives around us that could be Positive--even if their outward appearance may sometimes be unfamiliar or intimidating-- and all the opportunities and things that we could be using to enrich our lives and make them a happier place. Such as a room full of Unicorns and rainbows. ;)
The other problem that we have as adults is that we often fail to see the Unicorns. Our lives are often filled with Unicorns, boundless prancing magical things, but we fail to notice this. Well, let me tell you, a four-year-old would Not miss a room full of Unicorns, and neither should you! The second problem is that sometimes we see the Unicorns but don't do anything with them. We don't Use the Unicorns to our benefit, even when it is right in front of us. Well, again, a child would not just sit there facing a fluffy pink Unicorn and do nothing. By god, that child would run full force and wrap their little arms around that magical creature and give it a great big hug! That child would play all day with that Unicorn and love every second of it. So why don't we? Yes, sometimes new things (especially if it's a new looking Unicorn, maybe it's green instead of it's usual pink or white hue) can be intimidating. We aren't certain how to approach it, if it might nibble our fingers, if it's friendly, or what it has to offer. But we'll never know until we just go for it, uninhibited and eager. So be thankful for the Unicorns around us, use them when you see them, and enjoy every second.

If you're not keeping up with my outrageous metaphors, yes, I'm still talking about life. ;) Life has many opportunities right in front of our eyes but we don't take the leap and risk of just going for it. So the next time you are faced with an opportunity or thing that could be used to your benefit but feel intimidated, doubtful, or uncertain… picture a fluffy pink Unicorn (or whatever your favourite Unicorn might be) and think of yourself as an eager child grateful for that fluffy Unicorn.

Really, the Unicorn symbolizes so much more than I can put into words. It's the magic in our lives. It's the childish fascination with the world. It's the joys and the smiles. It's the opportunities and gains. It's excitement and adventure. It's the part of us we leave behind. It's the part of us that we get to rediscover to enrich our lives.
So choose to have, to see, and to be grateful for all the Unicorns in your life. Always. And keep your life full of Unicorns!

☺ Motivational Mondays! ☺

Oh Monday, how incredibly under-appreciated you are. Just another splendid day in the week, no different than Friday, or Tuesday for that matter. Yet so many resent and fear you. Well, let's give Monday some love and let that love pour over into your life. ;)

"The organs weep the tears the eyes refuse to shed." Let yourself feel the ups and downs of life, of your raw emotions. Don't inhibit your emotions, don't resist life, let them flow freely. When you suppress these things it just gets stored up in your body and is why we get sick, ill, or experience aches and pains.
Jump! Jump! Stop what you're doing. Stand Up. Put a huge Smile on your face. Jump up and down a few times. Now tell me you don't feel better? ;)
Say no… What? I'm telling you tell you no? This may seem contradictory my usual suggestion of being a "Yes" person, however once you're more in tune with yourself you'll learn what's true to you and what's not. So, this is the advice: practice saying no to conversations, commitments and events that you feel disconnect you from your truest sense of self and well-being. First step really is to pay attention to the activities and events that you genuinely enjoy and resonate with you, and pay attention to the ones that you wished you'd said "no" to. Once you gain a better sense of self it'll be pretty easy for you to know what to say "No" to and, gradually, you can become more graceful and honest about your position and feelings.
"Never let lack of money interfere with having fun." Learn to have fun without money! Realize that you can have a ton of fun without money. One of those things we often like to forget that money does not equal happiness. I'm not saying that money isn't nice to have (I mean, we all need to pay rent, bills, etc.) but it is good to learn and appreciate the simple things.
Communicate! You are often more likely to hurt someone by the words you don't speak rather than the ones you do. Part of having any successful relationship is good communication. If something is bothering you, tell them. If something is on your mind tell them. Express yourself in a respectful manner of course, but do speak, be open, and honest rather than allowing something to fester inside you and build resentment or negative feelings. Learn together how to respectfully and openly communicate.
Stop saying you Can't… before you've even started. Well, stop saying "can't" at any time but we often do this before we've even started or given ourselves a chance to prove ourselves. If there is something you want to do, then do it, without placing limitations or pre-conceived expectations of failure. If you want something bad enough you can have it. Maybe you'll start something and realize you don't actually enjoy it or that it doesn't resonate with you, but you'll never know until you try. So try.
☺ Remember: Everything you need to create a happy life is inside You.

Have a beautiful fantabulous week! Much Love from me to you!
Create a Nice Day! xo

☺ Motivational Mondays! ☺

I love Mondays cuz they're so delicious … ??… umm, awesome?! Yes, awesome! How is your Monday? Don't let it be bluesy and down, it's the beginning of a new week! Hoora Hoora!

Think Positive! I know I know, you hear me say this all the time. We all need the reminder and you know it. ;) The extra tip here is to try to wake up every morning with the thought that something wonderful will happen in your life today. If you pay close attention, you’ll find that it'll come true.
Don't follow Insanity… I'm not talking about society's definition of insanity, I'm talking about this definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Stop!! Try something new, a different approach, a different mentality or outlook. Just try, even if you try and fail again, at least Try, eventually you'll achieve what you need to. ;)
Attend a Full Moon Party! The Full Moon is tomorrow! Be outside during it! Spend some time to sit outside and look up at that big beautiful bright golden orb in the starry night sky. We are very connected to the Moon's energy, especially you women out there, so it's a great idea to take time to be in its light. Find some grassroots Full Moon celebration, create your own, or simply go out for a walk in its light.
Walk away from people who have no respect for you… I know, it's sometimes really hard to be the bigger person and just walk away, but by arguing with or allowing yourself to be talked down on by another person you are only doing your good vibes harm. Just don't get into it. They are not worth your time. If someone has no respect for you then that is their problem, not yours. Don't be around such people. And remember to not take it personally--when someone has a problem with you it's almost always because they have a problem with themselves.
Meditate for 5 minutes a day!  It will set your day off to a better start!
Stop Put-downs! I'm talking particularly about body type here. Why? Because it has come to my attention that a lot of recent attempts at body positivity for beautiful curvy women is to put down skinny women. Body Positivity does not come from putting down one group of people to make another feel better. Body Positivity comes from accepting that All body types are beautiful. Spreading about more negativity is not a solution. Think Body POSITIVE, Not Negative! (I'm going to write a lot more about this topic soon ;))
Be Good to Yourself… with Valentine's Day fast approaching, I'm sure there are already those mixed vibes floating about in the air. Don't let any negativity enter your life. This week focus on empowering yourself, loving yourself, and knowing that you don't need any other person to make you feel beautiful and loved. Love comes from You! Take special care and attention to You! :)

"You, as much as anyone in the entire Universe, deserve your Love & Affection."
One of my favourite quotes. Hold onto that this week and make it fabulous. :)

Have a fantastic week and Create a Nice Day! xo

☆ What's Going On: Why Detox? ☆

As part of the "30 Day Self Challenge" I am doing a cleanse for today and the week and getting into awesome eating habits for the rest of the month too.

So, why do a cleanse? Why Detox?

We live in a very toxic world, surrounded by potential toxins in the water we drink, the air we breathe, and the food we eat, that build up in our organs, cells, blood and body. The body tries to protect itself by storing those foreign substances and toxins as balls of mucus or fat in its fatty deposits to prevent triggering adverse immune reactions. People can actually be carrying up to ten or more extra pounds of unhealthy mucus-harboring toxic waste!!! No wonder doing a cleanse can make you lose weight!
But the body can only do this for so long before the toxins begin to seep into the bloodstream and into cell membranes causing all sorts of trouble.

All those toxins can make you tired, give PMS, digestive disorders, headaches, joint pains, bad breath, allergies, intolerances, constipation, brittle nails, skin eruptions, poor memory, depression, insomnia, excess weight, and other health issues.

Any of the following will also increase the toxic levels in your body:
If you live in a city; work in an office; frequently walk/jog/run alongside busy traffic roads; use a cell phone, use a computer; live near high-voltage power lines; smoke cigarettes or other substances; use prescription drugs or medication; drink alcohol; never exercise; drink coffee, milk, unfiltered water, carbonated or fizzy drinks; eat sugar, sweets, white bread, canned foods, microwaves foods, fried foots, meats; add lots of salt to cooking; consume lots of preservatives and additives in foods.

Again, we live in a very toxic world so it is important to cleanse your body and to properly detoxify it regularly. What better way to kick-start the new year than with a nice fresh detoxified body? :)

Any cleanse that basically suggests that you starve yourself is no good. And all the big health gurus say the same. Here are the cleanses that I most recommend...

Juice Fast: It's easy on your body, you're putting amazing super nutrients into your system, and you still get a magnificent cleanse while doing so. People have cured themselves of cancer and all sorts of other illnesses just through juicing! It's magical! It may take a little getting used to the not actually eating part since your brain is so used to the mechanical eating process, so it may still feel like you're hungry. Remember, if you're feeling hungry then drink more juice. Oh, and you'll need a juicer for this one. ;)

Raw Diet: If you can actually just plain have a raw diet all the time then all the power to you, I don't have the will-power yet, but maybe one day. There is probably nothing you could do better than eating a purely raw diet. Lots of people do it, and all that do remain looking youthful with clear skin and no digestive problems. Score! Raw foods are Living foods; they have not been cooked, boiled, stewed, microwaved, frozen, baked, or steamed. They are still in their original state and contain all their natural food enzymes. Food enzymes are essential for digestion, to nourish our bodies, provide us with energy, and balance our metabolism. So you can see how beneficial a raw diet is.

WildRose Cleanse: I've done this cleanse myself a couple of times and have always found great benefit in it. Not only does it detox your body, but it also teaches you better eating habits that you can continue even after you're done the cleanse. The key points are what you are eating; cutting out certain foods while taking supplements to aid the colon. It lasts 12 days, although you can do it in 7 days too and just do half instead. But this cleanse is really quite easy in comparison to other detox systems.

Dr. Gillian McKeith's One Day Detox: This cleanse is for just one day, although you can take it longer. It's a bit of a combination of the cleanses above. You are mainly drinking juice, eating a bit of raw fruit and veggies, drinking lots of tea, and you're allowed a little bit of grains. Pick up her book
"You Are What You Eat"
It's amazing and incredibly helpful!

I am really only brushing the surface of these detox programs, I encourage you to look into whichever method you choose.

Things to remember while detoxing...

*Make sure you drink LOTS OF WATER no matter what detox you're doing. Drinking at least 8 glasses a day is vital to a healthy body, but especially when you are trying to detox. You have to keep those toxins moving out of the body remember?!

*Because your body has a build up of toxins, quite often you may feel undesirable side-effects while doing a cleanse. This is known as a "healing crisis". The more badly you need a cleanse, the worse the side-effects usually are. Let it be a wake up call to eat better and cleanse more ;). Just remember that while these symptoms can be uncomfortable, but they are a part of the cleansing process.

It is quite normal to feel one or more of the following; mild nausea, rashes, headaches, irritability, joint pains, or other indications of detox. You can also sometimes feel weepy or emotional--that can be years of pent up tensions releasing.

But the possible side-effects pass fairly quickly and are insignificant when you think of the rewards.
Afterwards you will be be blessed with feeling energized, clearheaded, rejuvenated and revitalized! Your body and your mind will thank you for it! Hugely!!!

My Plan:
As part of the 30 Day Self Challenge, I am starting the cleanse with a juice fast all day (today). Tomorrow I will be doing Dr Gillian's Detox system, and from there I will continue to drink lots of juice and stick mostly to raw foods for the week. My personal intention is to keep my diet amazing! I will very slowly introduce other foods to my diet while paying close attention to how my body feels. I highly recommend doing this. You often don't realize the negative effect of certain foods have on your body until you have the chance to cut them out and then reintroduce them.

Peace & Love,
xo
