Last weekend we had a fun day checking out the Kaslo May Days. Lots of fun with friends, watching skateboarders, logger sports, and just plain having some fun in the sun. :)

I had an amazing moment today - I saw a wild koala from the bus window on my way home! Actually, this is my second time seeing a koala in this location, also from the same bus route. They say lightning never strikes twice - but koalas apparently do. :) (and this time I also wasn't able to take a decent photo - I think I need to bring my camera on that bus route!)
ReplyDeleteAccording to local news, koalas have been coming back to that parkland around a local university, where the bus stop is. I went bus-hopping to try to take a picture of it with my phone (all I had at the time.) The most disappointing thing was that on three buses back and forth, I was the only person who saw the koala - everyone else's noses were firmly glued to their phones/tablets! And I couldn't wipe the silly grin off my face. I saw a wild koala. My day is HAPPY! :)
